    I AM SO SORRY THAT I PURCHASED THIS ITEM FROM BEST BUY. I NEEDED TO RETURN THE ITEM FOR A REFUND OR STORE CREDIT AND I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER LOGI TECH... I ONLY HAD THE ITEM FOR 15 DAYS AND NEVER OPENED THE BOX.

    Defective but can't return "part of a bundle"

    The scroll wheel on the mouse is rubbing and making an irritating noise. I tried to return/exchange it and was told that "Since it was purchased as a bundle, I would owe them money to return it; unless I returned the entire bundle." I don't have the box to return the monitor anymore, so now I'm stuck with a disappointingly cheap keyboard and defective mouse that I "saved $20 on" by buying it at the same time as a monitor...

    The keyboard kept losing connection and i kept having to pair it back to the pc. Other than that it was good, but i returned it because of that issue.

    It was supposed to be free with purchase but I was charged 29.99 so that was a disappointment! Other than not getting anyone to fix that it works fine.

    Noisy keyboard, rattles while typing.

    Easy connection to a laptop. Keyboard is noisy and rattles while typing. Sounds cheap. Looking for a quieter operating keyboard.

    keyboard & mouse is piece of crop it lag all the time my K520 is way better than this..they should do some update to make this thing work..

    The keyboard and mouse are fine. One star is for the u ethical practice of adding a $9.99 warranty to this purchase six months later on a totally different purchase. Complete runaround tryIng to get this removed and still have not been able to. Just bad business.

    I really wanted this keyboard to work out for my home office, however, I exchanged it for the MX Keys Wireless.

    I found the buttons to be be too easy to push resulting in many typos simply from brushing my fingers across the keyboard.

    Poor deliver

    I give one star (not suppose to give even one star but no option) for this keyboard because of the deliver person not good service, he deliver the Keyboard box not properly, he just throw the box over the 3’ fence to the sidewalk in side my property and when the box hit to the Concret sound like bomb. I was in basement and I could hear the sound so louder. The keyboard is ok nice designed essay to use and look great. I would recommend this Keyboard to friend but not delivery service.

    Terrible lag and unresponsive at times

    I have a laptop closed connected to a monitor. The keyboard and mouse are in close proximity to the receiver (both on top of desk). The keyboard will miss keys and sometimes go unresponsive for sometimes a minute. LogiTech tech support offered no solution to the problem and it appears that many others have similar problem with this setup. I am about to run it over with my truck just for satisfaction! Don’t buy this if you plan to use with a laptop setup like mine.

    keyboard doesn't read the Caps key very well so the functions don't always work. Am going to return it this weekend for same keyboard but one that works , hopefully

    Its a keyboard...That's about all one can say which is unfortunate for the price point. The keystroke feedback feels like there is slime under each key.

    This has got to be the worst pair of remote keyboard and mouse I've ever purchased. A few months after purchasing this pair of junk, I noticed it would not function properly - mouse would act funny and keyboard frequently would not work. Only way to get them back working (just for a little while)? Smash them (literally) into the ground! It's like the signal receptors are so poorly coordinated they need to be beaten to be aligned properly. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!

    I purchased this product and it only lasted 20 days before no longer working. Best Buy's return policy is only 15 days. Keep that in mind when you order items. OR you can sign up for their Geek Squad protection which is 20.4% of the total value of the product. Either way you are paying extra for a poor product. Purchase this from Amazon, They can get it to you quicker and have a much better return policy and better protection prices.

      Thank you for choosing Logitech and for taking the time to review the Logitech MK540 Mouse and Keyboard combo. I am sorry that you have experienced issues with your combo; I would like to help. If you have not already done so, I recommend running the “Firmware Update Tool” to ensure your USB receiver has the latest updates. For best performance, I recommend installing the “SetPoint” and “Options” software for customization. If you are still experiencing issues, you may want to run the “Unifying” software where you can reestablish the connection between the Mouse/Keyboard and USB receiver. I have attached a link to the support page with these downloads, guides and further support. I hope you will enjoy your MK540 combo.

    There wasnt a dongle in any of the packaging material, and this is a boat anchor without any connections. I suspect there is a problem with quality control letting them ship without the dongle. I dont have phone service, and its impossible to get any response from anyone for service. Including best buy

Since it sounds like you already checked the packaging, if you haven't already, I would recommend checking the battery compartments in the keyboard and mouse.     Much like several other Logitech keyboards I have had, this one is unable to keep up with my typing, cuts out frequently and frequently fails to register keystrokes. After a couple hours I gave up and packed it back up in the box. I never even tried the mouse.

      Sounds like a button issue. Try cleaning the buttons/keys with compressed air. Also, unpair/re-pair or disconnect/reconnect the hardware and check if that helps. If the issue persists, reach out to Logi Support team for further assistance.
