I only purchased a new because BB offered a deal with the monitor I was buying. I do have one small annoyance with the mouse, I am not sure if it is a design flaw or just mine. Right at the top of the click wheel, there is a small catch where it is not smooth, it is annoying when you use the wheel or at least it is to me. Instead of being smooth there is a rough part that is just annoying when your skin hits it. My last one did not do this. Other than that I am happy with it. To me, it not much different than the one I had, which was not "advanced".

It kept on skipping and not being very reliable. Thought I would like the wireless mouse, but I ended up having to buy a wired one which is working very well. As for keyboard, like I stated, it is very good and comfortable to use.
