I needed to buy a new wireless mouse since my previous mouse decided to stop working after falling off my bed. My husband convinced me to look for a new wireless keyboard and mouse combo because he wanted the wireless keyboard that came with my dead wireless mouse. We went on the Best Buy app while on the way to the Best Buy store to get an idea of what options there were before arriving. I'm happy that we decided to check this one out. I thought I was going to miss my previous keyboard but I sure as heck don't. This keyboard is so much better. My favorite part about this keyboard is how quiet the keys are. I work on my laptop and prefer a traditional keyboard since I'm my job requires a lot of typing and computer work. The keys are also soft on my fingertips. I like the hot keys on top to control the volume and mute my laptop, the calculator, and a button to lock my computer. There are also plenty of other options on the keyboard that I'm looking forward to trying out when the need arises. The mouse is very comfortable to hold and feels solid and not cheap like my previous mouse. Can never go wrong with Logitech products.

Keyboard and mouse are ergonomically comfortable. New model does not have the lag of the old keyboard.

The connectivity is better and it’s faster. I do not normally use wireless when playing a PC game or coding but this one works.

New Keyboard and Mouse

Wife likes the mibility and convenience of being able to move it around. came with batteries ad works well.

She likes the full size keyboard with the full keypad. She also mentioned she likes the "support" area below the space bar. I downloaded/installed the Logitech Options software to add the combo to her existing work laptop's Unifying Receiver. I have not heard any complaints yet. So far, so good.

Smooth & quiet keys, but no sideways scroll

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a keyboard to complete my WFH setup, and ended up spending more on this keyboard than I expected to (bought it in store, and the price tags had gotten shuffled on the shelf). BUT, it was serendipity, I suppose, because I really like this keyboard, because the action is very smooth and quiet, which may not seem important, but complaints have decreased dramatically about my typing during Teams meetings/Zoom calls. Not to mention working after hours keeps the noise down for others sleeping (again, more important than it may seem). The mouse is decent, as well, with a nice weight and responsive action, but I wish it had sideways scroll for navigating Excel sheets and larger or zoomed in graphic situations. Some may complain about the lack of programmable buttons on the side, but in my recent experience using a mouse with that feature, I frequently ended up pressing those extra buttons when I didn't intend to--so I don't miss them. Also love the fact that both the keyboard and mouse have on/off switches, so you can disable them if you turn on your computer and realize one/both need to be cleaned.

Logitech MK540 Keyboard & Mouse

The connectivity via USB is relatively quick and is very responsive. I especially like the quietness of the key presses. This is a huge difference in comparison to my previous Logitech keyboard. The mouse is also a great size and shape. Very comfortable to use for extended periods of time.
