      Hi Gary,
Thank you for your feedback. Sorry you are having issues with your mouse. Here are possible solutions:
If your mouse is not working, the problem is likely to be a lost connection. The connection between the mouse and Unifying USB receiver can be lost for several reasons. Make sure you have fresh batteries in your mouse and is turned on. Make sure the Unifying USB receiver is securely plugged directly into a working USB port on your computer. Turn your computer on. Hello Phil, we are sorry to hear that the combo unit had a missing USB dongle. Before submitting a warranty ticket with us, we recommend double checking the package to see if you find the USB dongle. Next, also look in the battery compartment of both the keyboard and the mouse, the USB dongle will be located inside. If the dongle still doesn't pop up, I'll have the warranty link at the end of this message. We apologize for the inconvenience, have a great day. -Ricky | Logitech. https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024924974-Warranty-MK540-ADVANCED
