Decent Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo

Membrane style keyboard with a decent feel. Physically the Keyboard itself is not too large. 1 Very Small USB Dongle used to connect both. Windows 10 detected both Keyboard and Mouse without issue.

Not too many functions to overwhelm and the price was decent. The ability to turn off the keyboard and mouse is appreciated as well. I have purchased many Logitech combos in the past and will keep doing so if they can continue producing reasonable quality and unifying USB adapters.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a nice combo and I bought it for the new computer because we have had a MK520, which has worked flawlessly for years. The new MK540, when installed, had a mouse which constantly froze and was erratic. The keyboard, however, had no problems. I uninstalled, reinstalled, changed batteries, changed usb connector from back to front, even though the tower sits on the floor one foot from the desk (description says works up to 33' away). Ran a check which said Logitech up to date and working properly. Connected the old MK520 to the new computer, and had no problem, so I assumed I had a faulty mouse and exchanged the MK540. New Mk540 keyboard worked fine and within 15 minutes new mouse started acting up. What tha ...? Researched the comments in this section and found someone else had similar problems and added a usb extender which solved their erratic mouse. Guess what? The old MK520 came with an extender which placed the usb on the desktop, so I tried it, and voila' everything has worked correctly ever sense. Guess this usb doesn't work up to 33' away. So off to buy another extender since Logitech didn't furnish one with the MK540. Only three Stars Because: No furnished Logitech instructions or trouble shooting Doesn't function properly without an extender to place usb at desk height and had to buy one, whereas the old MK520 came with one. Three trips to Best Buy to get a workable keyboard combo. Frustration to get mouse to work without freezing. Keyboard had no problems.

I'm sorry that the mouse gave you issues with being erratic and that the only solution was to use an USB extender to bring the USB receiver to desk level. Improve your Posture

Works wonderfully. I use on my work and my personal laptop. By using this keyboard and mouse I have better posture when sitting all day. I also switch between my Mac and Window machines and it works with both. Great investment.

I needed a combo set so that it would only use one USB port on my hub. This was an easy set up and so far it works well. It was on sale for a great price and works well for my needs and budget. I have always been pleased with my Logitech purchases.

After talking it over with Best Buy I settled on this package. Very smooth and reliable operation. A truly plug-n-play kit. I’m so glad I settled on this one. Once this stay at home lifts, I’m taking this keyboard and mouse with me back to work!!!!! Thank you Best Buy!!!!
