Solid, well-built keyboard/mouse

It's a bit more expensive than Logitech's MK270, but well worth the extra cost. I purchased this as part of a special offer (when purchased along with a monitor)... so only a few dollars more than the lower-priced MK270 version! I've always had great experience with Logitech technology, so recommend them without reservation. Very happy with the purchase!

Compact and durable keyboard

This hit all the marks and I was surprised with the build quality and weight. I really like how the top of the mouse cover is magnetic making really easy to remove so you can store the dongle. The keys are responsive and the mouse feels good. My only complaint is that the caps lock key doesn't have a light which would have been nice at this price point but not a deal breaker for me. It's worked flawlessly on my Dell Latitude laptop so I'm happy with it.

Perhaps over time I will adjust. I like the wireless connection of both keyboard and mouse. Reduces clutter and works fine.

I shopped online and found the Logitech Wireless keyboard and mouse bundle. I unpacked the components and using the simple, one-page instruction guide, had both working with my PC within minutes. Both the keyboard and mouse come with an on/off button to preserve battery life. I'm very pleased with my purchase and the ease of setup and use.

The first two each survived about five years of moderate to heavy use and abuse. Can I afford 10 to $15 a year to essentially rent keyboards and mice? Yes I can LOL! Out of the box and nearly instant setup in about 5 minutes. Everything in perfect condition working as it should. That's been my experience with all Logitech products I have bought, which is why I have a bit of brand loyalty towards them as long as they keep up the good work!

I really like how the keys feel and the overall fit on my desk. I’ve never had any issues with these keyboards/mouses and I’ve been using them for years. The battery lasts a really long time as well.

The MK540 mouse is also basic, so there's no additional side buttons. That said, this is a sturdy, sleek, and quiet keyboard. It does not clack when you type (unlike the Wave version) and the buttons are nicely rounded for speedy typers. I was expecting a flimsy and plastic-ey keyboard and mouse, so I was pleasantly surprised by the elegant quality and heft of both. I had no issues with set-up; just plug in the usb dongle , make sure the board and mouse are turned on, and it's ready to go!
