Wanted something with just 1 USB to work both the mouse and keyboard. Set up was easy. The feel is good, took a few days to get use to as the keys are pretty flat. It is not too loud. Has a switch to power on and off, but the battery life is supposed to be pretty long anyways. Highly recommend.

No more leaning across the desk, or twisting at weird angles... so that's a big benefit. Much better keyboard layout with full page control buttons and number pad... compared with laptop keyboard. Runs fast off the USB 2.0 port, so that's helpful. Also, has a very nice complement of function keys and audio/multimedia controls, which I use. I also like the easily switched power buttons to help preserve battery when I leave the office and take the laptop away. Super easy to setup, and even tweak the mouse sensitivity controls, all within the Windows operating system.

A benchmark for other wireless keyboards

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned quite a few of the MK-series keyboards, as they always have good keyboard feel, but are not too noisy. This one is no exception. This is mostly all "goods", so I won't list them all...you'll see them in other reviews. What you may want to consider is: - while the padded wrist-rest is nice, it makes the keyboard deeper. Not a con, but just be aware of it...your desk space will require a little more depth than with some other keyboards. - expect to change a battery about once every 8-10 months. You could turn-off the keyboard/mouse, but that can confuse others. This is the classic trade-off for any wireless device, of course, and is to be expected, but some people I know (ahem, quite a few in fact) forget these are battery powered and start wondering why "my computer stopped working" after about a year's time. Overall, it's still a 5-star, well-done product.

A few steps up from the basic BT keyboards and mice. The keyboard feels sturdy and the mouse too. The keys are quiet. There doesn’t seem to be any lag issues. The keyboard has a CAPS lock light, which mattered for our use.
