I have not had any problems. There is an on/off switch to save power but I keep forgetting to turn it off at night and weekends. It has been two weeks and I have not had to change the battery.

This happened to be a Deal of the Day, so I got it for an excellent price. The mouse and keyboard have worked flawlessly and I like the unifying receiver instead of having to use multiple ones. Way too soon to comment on battery life. If you need a full size keyboard, this set is an excellent choice.
