Wireless is the way to go and the Logitech MK540 is the way to go wireless. The set-up comes with batteries preinstalled, you pull out the plastic tabs so the batteries can connect, install the USB receiver so the mouse/keyboard can communicate with the computer and you're ready to rock. My set auto connected right away. You're going to like the MK 540 the function, look and feel is of a much pricier unit. The keys are soft touch and rounded on the edges and both units are a pleasant matte finish. Try it you'll like it...

Great keyboard and mouse! Price is great as well. Love how all of the keys are raised. My daughter in grade school loves it as well. Plus it is wireless!

So I've had this keyboard for a while now and haven't had any major issues. I needed a wireless keyboard to make streaming easier for me. But I've noticed over time that it's started lagging for some reason. It won't type or it'll type half of what I was trying to type. I thought it was because I needed to replace the batteries but it doesn't matter. I actually just put new batteries in earlier today and it still lags. That's the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars. Other than that, it's served me well. It's just the occasional lag that's frustrating.

Easy set up and like the integrated keyboard and mouse. Can be readily moved to use with my laptop. currently very happy with feel and performance, and the value was good.

I purchased 5 of these for every system in our small office. We have three lefties on our team and the universal shape of the mouse works great for use with either hand. The keyboard is what you'd expect. A bit soft but very comfortable for all-day use, and the palm rest is just the right size. Pairing these was a breeze with the Logi universal dongles and they worked right out of the box with our OSX Catalina Macs and Windows 10 PCs. We also picked up a battery charger and some spare batteries but haven't needed to swap them yet.

Great wireless product, once again, good help from the service representative. Easy to use and easy to use with my other computer hardware. Also, good value and a good price when you consider the capabilities. Good choice if you want a matching wireless mouse as well, this was all included. Range on the WIFI allows me to use this outside.

Bought one of these keyboards for my home office. Love it so much that I am going to buy a second. Plug and play. No software or cable required as its a wireless keyboard. Very smooth keyboard and mouse. Priced just right as compared to more expensive keyboards. Love it.

The battery lasts long. The keyboard is really comfortable. This is the 3rd time I bought this item. It would last if glasses of liquid didn't get spilled into the keyboard.

Purchased for work to keep my workstation area clear of any unnecessary items for our overnight enhanced cleaning protocol, stow away this and any paperwork/items before I leave for the day - only leaving behind monitors and the docking station. Keyboard is very comfortable and responsive, battery life is good - haven’t replaced since purchased. Has same features as HP’s USB keyboard plus shortcut buttons, love the volume buttons, very quick to adjust so you don’t have to fumble on your screen.

I needed a new keyboard and mouse and happened on this one last week in Best Buy ad. I have used it now for 2 days and cannot say enough about this combo. The keyboard is smooth, love the raised keys and the size of them, my little fat fingers don't hit two at once. I love that the mouse and keyboard can be turned off when not in use. I would recommend this combo to anyone wanting a great, reasonably priced set. Can't believe I waited so long to get a great combo. I will be using this everyday as I work from home and am very happy I purchased it.

Works fine. I had the same model keyboard & mouse for over eight years before this one. The action of the key stroke is a little different. Not good or bad just differnt. I like this keyboard because I can open my desk drawer and sit the keyboard ,legs extended on the desk top and the bottom of the keyboard into the slightly open drawer. This is a perfect position for using the keyboard as it is slightly tilted. I'm giving the keyboard a "Qulity" rating of four stars. The reason is that quality can only be assured over time. It's only been a month at most. So I think four stars is generous. I disassembled my last keyboard at least three times to deep clean it. I would reccomend the keyboard based on price. I expect it to last at least five years so that's about $0.83 a month.

This is a decent basic keyboard as are most Logitech keyboards. The keyboard is comfortable and the layout is good. The mouse is also decent and comfortable. The keys are moderately soft but positive enough to know you've pressed the keys. The keys are pretty quiet. It's not back-lit. Battery life seems to be on par with typical Logitech keyboards. You only need the one dongle which is a plus. No complaints, really.

Love this keyboard: the feel of the keys, the extra space in front of the keyboard, the keypad. It is a perfect addition to my laptop for doing long text documents as I don't rest on the touchpad on the laptop. I love that the keyboard and mouse only use one port.

Great keyboard mouse package for the money. Easy to set up, easy to use, basic functional keyboard. I actually like the keyboard than a more expensive one I bought from Logitech because you have one touch access to the calculator function (other keyboard requires you to use the function key simultaneously with the calc button). The mouse is about as basic as you can get, but you shouldn't expect more for the money....want more functions on your mouse?...spend more money.

This wireless keyboard has been a pleasant surprise. It was easy to set up, the keys are responsive and comfortable, and the build feels solid. The battery life is impressive, and the connection is stable with no lag. For the price, it performs just as well as more expensive options. Definitely a great value—highly recommend!

The wireless keyboard and mouse are easy to set up and work well. They were much needed additions to my desk/office nook when working from home. They held up well during daily use over the 6+ months I was still working from home. The keyboard and mouse still work great - I switched jobs and now use my at home set up only occasionally, but the keyboard and mouse are still going strong.

The keyboard is easier to use than the original one that came with the computer. We have used Logitech products many times and had no problems

The keyboard works great and has a great feel. The mouse worked great until a month or so ago. I'm not sure how to explain the problem but sometimes it double clicks when I don't want it to and other times it won't recognize the double click. If I push really hard every time I click, it works great but you really have to click it hard. Since I work on the computer all day, it gets tiring. It was easy to set up and use and battery life has been ok. With almost daily use, I just put new batteries in last month and I've had it about 8 months now.
