Great and Durable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn't find my old review to update so I am creating a new one. I bought this combo during black friday in 2011. I am still using the same one 7 years later. I have never had any problem with the keyboard or mouse themselves. I liked the mouse so much I bought two more, one for my personal laptop and one for my work laptop. In the 7 years I've owned these I've only had to change the batteries two or three times. Granted I am not using them for 8 hours a day 7 days a week but they do get used quite a bit. If others are having to change their batteries more often they may be using cheap batteries. I got a USB extension cord for the dongle so I could put it on my desk, rather than connected directly to the computer on the floor under my desk. I only did this so I could use the keyboard and mouse from our bed when streaming TV. This is not to say the signal is weak by any means, I just wanted it to have better line of sight. If I had to give one complaint, its that there is no light to indicate the Num Lock/Caps Lock but in my opinion that is very minor and doesnt deserve a star deduction. One problem I had with the set up is I started experiencing scrolling issues with the mouse. I updated drivers and all that but it didnt fix the issue. I decided to open up the mouse and it turned out that the wheel that detects the scrolling had dry skin/oil debris in it that was keeping the light from getting through. I cleaned it off and it was as good as new. This was after using the mouse for over 3 years at that point and was totally preventable on my part by just keeping my hands clean and wiping off the mouse every once in a while. Another instance, I accidentally spilled orange juice on the keyboard and started experiencing sticky keys. I just popped the keyboard apart, after taking the batteries out, and rinsed everything off including the pad that detects the key presses. Put it back together after letting it dry and everything worked fine. Again, this was my fault and the keyboard came through it like a champ. Bottom line, there are always outliers that may have production defects but those are the extreme exception, not the rule. If I ever need to replace this combo for any reason I will absolutely get the same setup or equivalent if it is retired.

Great product, Having trouble...? READ BELOW...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product, got on sale so great price. If you are having any second thoughts because of some of the reviews, or are having trouble with this device please read below... Check to see if you are running other electronics in your house that use 2.4GHz. That might explain any problems listed by those that give this a low rating. I have the keyboard and mouse and love it, however I threw out a 2.4GHz phone that I really don't use anymore anyway because it was causing interferrence. (Make sure you have DECT 6.0) I also have a wireless security camera that works on the same frequency, along with a baby moniter. These devices didn't interfere with each other that much, (I did have some problems with the camera, however I was able to tweak the settings to use 2.32GHz) The fact that the others didn't cause too many problems before and the keyboard and mouse do is because they don't have a scanning device like the phone to jump between small fluxuations in the frequencies to adjust to any interferrence. If those listed above don't fix your problem then you got a lemon and should take back and get a new one. That doesn't make it a bad product overall, I have yet to find any product from any company that doesn't have any units that are sold without having a few problems. It is a great product as long as it is comfortable for you, as some people don't like the physical setup, or the size of the mouse.

Virtually impossible to use. Very weak signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a worthless piece of equipment. I am going back to my wired keyboard, as it will type the letters that I press. I have warned friends not to purchase this piece of equipment. Very dissatisfied with its performance. It sounded like a great idea, but the product is non-functional.

POOR QUALITY CONTROL
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the wireless printer in anticipation of a move to another location. When the move did occur, I tried to set up the keyboard with my computer, but the USB drive was not packed with the original mouse. Very disappointing and time consuming.

I was disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return the first keyboard because the shift key didn't respond to the touch. It kept me from being able to type my password. I exchanged for a new one and So far it is working. The mouse has been fine.

OK for the money
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great keyboard, but the same issue as all the other Logitech keyboards have, the lettering disappears quickly and you are left with black keys.

Mouse creates musle tension
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse in this bundle is useless if person does not have a long palm. You will have to buy a new one and will pay more in total.

New Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would not work with my new desktop and then when I tried to return the keyboard and mouse to the local Best Buy they would not take it back, so now I am stuck with a keyboard and mouse that I can not use. It was over the 14 day return policy.

Very dissatisfying overall.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally wasn't a fan even at this price poit (aound $50-$70 plus tax.) I found the keyboard key press to be particularly dissatisfying (empty, non-smooth and very clacky), with the buttons having a sloppy feel before typing even started. Poor build quality as well. MS' similary Comfort Keyboard and mouse was a much better option even though I typically prefer Logitech's keyboards and mice both over MS in other models pretty consistently.

Posted .Hello scott0001, Very sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the MK550 Wireless Wave Keyboard and Mouse. Hopefully, you're able to return/exchange it especially if it's within 14 days so you can try something else more to your liking. Logitech has a pretty big display showcasing other keyboards and mice that you can demonstrate before you purchase. We appreciate the feedback and thank you for being a Logitech customer. - Richard from Logitech

Great Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This set is everything I wanted in a desktop set. First and foremost it works as described and advertised. Secondly, it is comfortable and easy to use. Thirdly, it is reliable. Everytime I use either piece of hardware, it always works smoothly and easily. One particular feature that "put the icing on the cake" were the individual switches on the underside of each peripheral, used to turn off the battery poer to help conserve it's energy.Hence, to last longer than any I have used so far. Which is yet another special feature of this product. Finally, the set is stylish. Glossy black, with smooth lines. Each button and key is right there at your fingertips to perform in a split second. Awsome product and I highly reccomend this this. And oh, did I mention the price? :)
