Had to move them around quite a bit because of connection issues, but have worked wonderfully since I got the placement just right.

Good Product But some parts stopped working

I've always had Logitech products and like them. I was a little surprised this week after less than 6 months that the keypad numbers no longer work. The hash tag, plus, minus and enter keys do but the numbers themselves just stopped working. I went online and found out that this was a common theme with this keyboard which is disappointing however I will be taking back to the store to get a new one.

After having two consecutive purchases of this same product I am officially fed up. I will give Logitech credit in design and ergonomics, but in terms of longevity of use this product is useless. Both times I had this product, by month six connectivity becomes an issue and both the mouse and keyboard become desktop paper weights.

That's unfortunate! Refer the mentioned steps and check if that helps to resolve the issue: 1. Verify the product or receiver is connected directly to the computer and not to a hub, extender, switch or something similar. 2. Move the device closer to the USB receiver. If your receiver is in the back of your computer, it may help to relocate the receiver to a front port. In some cases the receiver signal gets blocked by the computer case, causing a delay. 3. Keep other electrical wireless devices away from the USB receiver to avoid interference. 4. Try on a different computer. Incase if the issue still persists, reach out to Logitech Support Team.

For the love of Pete, do NOT buy this keyboard.

This keyboard is NOT worth 80 dollars. I bought it, brought it home, and proceeded to install the software. I plugged the wireless reciever into my computer, then installed the disc software. 1 hour later, the keyboard and mouse STILL did not work correctly on my Windows 7 operating system. After uninstalling and reinstalling each driver and the software that came with the disc, I finally got the mouse and keyboard to work. After 3 hours of use, I noticed lag spikes. Not just a quick .3 millisecond spike, a giant 5~7 second lag spike, for both moving the mouse, and typing on the keyboard. These spikes occur multiple times in a few minutes, at least twice per 15. Me being an avid online gamer, I instantly decided that this was the coffin nail on this horribly built setup. I am going to be returning this set first thing in the morning.

I have arthritis in both hands and have had difficulty with standard keyboards. I have been able to use this keyboard with fewer problems than normal. Also, the wireless mouse that came with this combo has performed flawlessly.

    Slow

Sometimes I have to wait several minutes before the keyboard responds to keys I have clicked, if it even does. Other times it works perfectly. My husband has the same keyboard and has the same issues. He stated that the USB connection should be on the monitor so that hopefully we would get a better signal.

Avoid this keyboard / mouse combo, spend more

So I had written a lengthy unbiased review, prior to accidentally hitting the "new to me" back button on the left side of the mouse and unfortunately the entire review is gone. Here is the short version. The keys are weak, lazy feeling. They do not move smoothly and make the keyboard feel very cheap. The keystroke seems long like a 1980's computer and a step back in time honestly. The keyboard layout gets a failure stamp in my opinion. Why any manufacturer would move the "Home / End / Delete / Page UP and Down" buttons is beyond me. Any professional who uses any of these keys will hate it immediately. Unless you like to hunt and peck with keys, you'll likely agree with me. The keyboard is wavy from left to right. This makes it nothing but awkward. Further, the W shape must be intended for folks with small hands as my lengthy fingers feel crowded more than ever on this large footprint keyboard so it makes me wonder if the arrangement wasn't shrunk down to fit all the bells and whistle buttons (do we really need a 1.5" square music or camera button folks? The top two inches of the keyboard are wasted space and the similarly sized space bar makes me wonder if anyone has EVER struggled to find the largest button on a keyboard since the start of time necessitating this one to be twice as tall.) In short, I hate this keyboard, and it's going back in the box to return as soon as this review is done. Onto the mouse. It's large size is what sucked me into this purchase. Spending $100 for the only other large mouse on display that fit my perhaps above average hand size was out of the question, why every mouse has to be designed to fit in the change pocket of your jeans is beyond me. Sure, a mouse for on the go should be compact but does everyone really operate on a desk the size of a notebook at home or are they small so keyboards can become larger to support surfboard sized space bars? The mouse wheel / center button lacks definition and accuracy. Not enough of a positive feel for my taste. Further, I can move the button a click at a time and see no change on the display regardless of the setting in the included Set point software. Speaking of which, it hung during it's initial "3 required updates" which is another bad sign that this thing was shoved out the door full of bad design. The buttons feel nice otherwise, granted make sure you want the back / forward buttons before they ruin your day too. However, big complaint #2 is the laser for this mouse tracks very poorly. I've tested it on a wooden desktop, used a mouse pad, tried it on a sheet of paper, etc. Spotty at best even after properly configured. Reminds me of an old roller ball mouse with lint stuck in it. Speaking of lint, the underside where the laser is recessed is a terrible design. It has a cylindrical hole smaller than a pencil eraser on the underside about 1/3-1/2" deep just begging to be clogged with lint or dirt and requires you to hunt down tweezers and a q-tip to fish out. Another Logitech mouse I purchased over a year ago has a angled opening making it possible to fish anything out of / clean with a simple tissue so this is a step backwards in design in my opinion. So, I would pass on this model despite it's attractive price tag. The fast buttons are a nice feature, but I'd prefer they be programmable. Perhaps this keyboard has a niche though, older folks with arthritis may find it comfortable and enjoy the large "simple" buttons for one touch access, but if you're a professional like myself who was looking for a keyboard to spend 40 hours a week behind keep searching and do what I plan to do, spend a little more and remember you get what you pay for!
