Keyboard keys letters fade away after few months of use. I researched online and it seems to be an issue with logitech wireless keyboards. If you really don't need to see the letters, then no problem.

The keyboard looses connections. The mouse scroll button continues to scroll past what you are wanting to stop on. Way to touchy. Would not recommend as this is going back to the store.

Hello, I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the USB dongle. Sometimes it may need a firmware update in order to function again. Here is the link for that: https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/keyboards/FirmwareUpdateTool_1.2.169_x64.exe. If that does not get it working again, lets go ahead and get you a replacement! All you have to do is visit the support page for the item on Logitech.com, and file a claim for a new one. I hope this was helpful! Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we appreciate the feedback.

Hello Liza, I'm sorry to hear that your MK710 wasn't working properly when you received it. That particular keyboard and mouse combo should be compatible with any Windows PC with an open USB A port. If it wasn't working properly when you plugged it in, I have a few suggestions. First, make sure the mouse and keyboard are both on, and the battery tabs have been fully removed. Second, make sure the USB is plugged fully into the port on your PC. Finally, they're still not connecting, try using a different USB A port on your PC if possible.

I have used Logitch keyboards for the last 10+ years. Why? Because not only has the quality been pretty consistent, but, they just work. The battery life on my keyboard is ridiculous. I mean that in the best way. I have not replaced the keyboard battery in over a year. Why is that amazing? Because I've been teleworking with it for over a year. I'm not sure what strange magic is happening inside of it, but that's pretty impressive. The mouse is sleek and configurable as well. The battery life on it is pretty impressive as well, but I usually keep it plugged in due to the handy micro USB port on the front. So basically, it's a wired/wireless mouse. This way if I want to go wireless, it will be fully charged. Amazing keyboard/mouse duo that's hard to beat price wise.

Great wireless keyboard and mouse combo

I’ve had this model for both work and at home. Its been one of the most reliable and responsive wireless keyboards I have owned and the setup has always taken me less than 5 minutes. The built in cushion for the keypad is the right length and provides the right amount of comfort. Keys are soft and dont make too much noise. The keyboard has teo different riser tabs on the bottom to adjust the keyboard height - one for a small bit of elevation ans the others for a bigger height adjustment. The hot keys/function keys work well provide shortcuts to apps i ise the most. The mouse is the best part - i pive the freewheel/clicking scroll function and the ergonomic shape of the mouse. The feel is just right combined with my pad for my wrist. Can’t go wrong with this combo and I’ll continue to use this for my home and my office setup.

Very Good Mouse - HORRIBLE keyboard

I purchased the MK710 mouse and keyboard combo locally from another store. I primarily needed a mouse but bought the combo with the unifying receiver. The keyboard had some nice features. I especially liked the LCD display that showed caps lock and num lock status. However that is about all I liked about it. The flat smooth keys made touch typing very difficult. I rarely look at a keyboard when typing, and typically just put my hands on the keyboard and type. Not with this keyboard, you really need to look just to get your hands in the right position. The low profile keys have very little spacing between them which makes it very easy to hit the wrong key and you don't get the tactile feedback of the edges of the keys as you type. It's really worse than it would seem. The function keys were small and had alternate functions for things other keyboards have dedicated alternate buttons for such as launching email. This was marginally annoying, but I could have lived with that. My daughter who normally doesn't use my computer used the keyboard for just a couple of minutes and immediately commented about the keyboard. I really don't see the need for the low profile desktop keyboard, other than to make it look cheap, and to make it cheap. The whole keyboard looks and feels cheap. On a laptop there is a reason to make low profile keyboards, but not for a desktop keyboard. The mouse on the other hand I liked, for the most part. The mouse is ergonomic and fits reasonably well in my hand. It is still a little smaller than the Microsoft Mouse it replaces, but works much better. The mouse movement is smooth and accurate and doesn't have any of the lags that the Microsoft Mouse had when left idle. The scroll wheel has two modes, a free wheeling flywheel mode, and another mode with the more typically click stop. There is a mechanical button to switch between the two modes. In the click mode it works fine and as expected. The flywheel mode is really nice but has some minor problems that seem to vary by mouse (more below). The flywheel works really well, and lets you scroll really quickly through web pages and documents. You can still easily control where you are, as long as your finger is on the scroll wheel. However when you let go of the scroll wheel, even if it was stopped, it moves, usually up and makes the web page or document move from where you selected. If you are extremely careful, and slowly remove your finger from the wheel it will do it a little less. It almost feels as if the wheel is unbalanced and if you let go with a "heavy" part up it will roll down. The mouse click is a little quieter than the Microsoft mouse, which I strongly prefer. It is easier to click and makes much less noise. The two side buttons (default forward and back buttons) are fairly well placed. They are a little small and tend to be slightly difficult to press, but overall they are fine. There is another almost hidden third button on the side that you can hit with your thumb. It defaults to displaying all open windows. I subsequently returned the keyboard and mouse combo and bought the mouse by itself from Best Buy. While it is the same model, it seems much better and doesn't seem to roll by itself after you let go. There is either slightly more friction (although it still spins very freely), or is better balanced. Whatever the case it is better than the same model that was bundled with the keyboard. It does have some jitter though. When you let go of the scroll wheel it will sometime jump one click back and forth for a few times and then settle down. So the summary is that I really didn't like the keyboard at all. While it had some nice features, the main feature of typing was in my opinion horrible. The mouse however I really like. Yes, the scroll wheel can be finicky and sometimes annoying, but overall the mouse is really good, and MUCH better than the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 that it will be replacing.

Great device but why not just bluetooth?

I think the unifying receiver is a good idea but a unecessary one. They could have just used bluetooth, but they want to make it proprietary. This is a knock on logitech. The item itself is very good. The mouse is decent and has a large button on the left side. This by default shows all open windows. While it is a good feature, you find yourself touching that button my mistake (especially when shutting it off). The wierd scroll button is trash. I rather that been search or something else. The keyboard has a good feel, but the legs move when you don't want them to. I think that they need to start designing these type of keyboards to be smaller. When using it wih a HTPC on a lapdesk, it is still a bit big. Overall I would recommend especially when on sale.

This is a very comfortable keyboard and mouse and I love all of the options and extra buttons they have. Easy to customize and the batteries last for a long time. The mouse did have the common Logitech double clicking issue when I was only single clicking, but Logitech stood behind their warranty and replaced it. Highly recommend.

I was experiencing a lot of problems with typing documents on my laptop. Basically the cursor would jump around the more I typed or if I typed with any speed. Now, it appears that issue has been resolved! In the past moving the cursor using the pad on the laptop was annoying. This ergonomic mouse enables me to type as fast as I need to, without sticking, and with ease and comfort. I LOVE THIS WIRELESS MOUSE! It is smooth and fits in my hand well. Overall, a great combo!

Great keyboard, easy to use and like the universal dongle. Came in handy when I lost my mouse on a business trip and got a replacement instead of having to buy a complete new mouse/keyboard package.
