Bad buy - only worked for 3 months

BlueTooth Function a No Go for Mac

If you have a Mac steer clear of this one.

Very difficult set up

I had no problems setting up the K780. I was set up with 2 computers and my cellphone in no time. But now after wasting more than 2 hours trying everything, trying to get support, watching youtube videos, I am returning the device.

I am sorry that you have experienced difficulty in getting this combo set up; I would like to help. This combo can connect via Bluetooth/USB Unifying receiver, or a combination of both. This combo comes with 1 Unifying USB receiver. I have attached a link below to the “Getting Started” support page for your combo. Here you will find a setup guide, software downloads and further support. You will want to hold down #1,2 or 3 on the Easy Switch for the keyboard and for the mouse. When the indicator is blinking rapidly, the device is in pairing mode. To pair to a Unifying receiver, you will want to use the Logitech software. Terrible product

The mouse would go crazy, making my page go up and down when trying to scroll to a particular place on the page. It was uncontrollable even after changing batteries. Unfortunately, I just missed the cutoff for returning it, so I'm stuck out.

Posted .Hi Jhobb21, thank you for sharing your experience with the MK850. I'm sorry that the mouse seemed to go crazy. The mouse (M720) has dual mode scrolling. The button that is just below/behind the scroll wheel controls the scroll if its in precision or hyperfast. Press the button 1 time and see if that helps slow the scroll down for you. Logitech Options Software can be downloaded to give you more control of some of the features for both the mouse and keyboard in this set. SERIOUSLY???

THE 3 LIGHTS ON THE SIDE OF THE MOUSE, EVERYTIME I WOULD LOG IN ONE WOULD BE FLASHING OBVIOUSLY NOT THE RIGHT ONE BECAUSE THE KEYBOARD WOULD NOT LET ME TYPE...THIS IS ANNOYING!!! WILL BE RETURNING.

Posted .That's unfortunate! Refer the mentioned steps and check if that helps to resolve the issue: 1. Verify the product or receiver is connected directly to the computer and not to a hub, extender, switch or something similar. 2. Move the device closer to the USB receiver. If your receiver is in the back of your computer, it may help to relocate the receiver to a front port. In some cases the receiver signal gets blocked by the computer case, causing a delay. 3. Keep other electrical wireless devices away from the USB receiver to avoid interference. 4. Try on a different computer. Incase if the issue still persists, reach out to Logitech Support Team.

Failure to Communicate

Returned the products to the store and purchased wired devices and a switch box to accomplish my desired outcome of having 2 laptops share the same keyboard and mouse.

Posted .Hi, thank you for sharing your experience with the MK850. I'm sorry that you were unable to set the mouse and keyboard up in a way that worked for your situation. The mouse and keyboard come with 1 Unifying Receiver pre programmed to "bank 1" In order to use "bank 2 and 3" you would need to connect via Bluetooth on both the mouse and keyboard to your other laptop. If you had an additional Unifying Receiver you could program the mouse and keyboard to that using Logitech Unifying Software. Once the Mouse and Keyboard are programmed properly you can switch the devices to the other laptop/computer by pressing "bank 2" on both devices. I'm sorry that you were not able to set them up as desired. I'm glad that you were able to purchase a switch box allowing you to use your devices on both laptops.
