The only draw back is the wrist-rest padding has a textured surface that collects dust and starts to appear dirty quickly.

It switches smoothly, and the only issues I ever have are with the apps I use, and not with the keyboard. I don't use the mouse as much on my Pixel, but the keyboard is amazing.
