Really nice keyboard , it’s just worth $80 . It feels like a $35 keyboard . Couldn’t justify spending so much on a keyboard that did not feel like it was worth the $80

Hello. I'm sorry to hear you're not satisfied with your new mouse and keyboard combo. The mouse included in this combo is the M720 Triathlon mouse, which is $40-50 on its own. This keyboard is actually one of our more popular keyboards due to its multi-device and curved features. If you have any other questions or issues please visit our support site: support.logi.com

Combo is a good value but slow rebound time after keystroke so if you are a fast typist you will get lag and slow response. I estimate about 50-60 wpm is the sweet spot for this keyboard. The mouse works well.

Hello. Thank you for your review. The MK850 shouldn't need any set up, and should work as soon as you plug in the USB receiver. The USB is very small and usually in the cardboard packaging and often gets overlooked.

So this keyboard ergonomically is great. BUT if you are buying this keyboard and expect customization you will be left wanting. if you want to use the f keys for crtl / alt functions or any other functions then the 6 or so you can customize it wont work. so the keyboard is not compatible with any use like command line interfaces, text editors, or linux, the oversimplified software makes it worse . the sound managements function keys stick as well so at random intervals you will have no sound or ear shattering maxed out speakers, which is only fixed by plugging and unplugging the usb reciever. the sound issue may be isolated to my own purchase but who knows. logictech, one of my favorite affordable companies may have dropped the ball on this one.

Very nice keyboard & mouse combo, however it only gets 2 stars due to a problem of them connecting upon reboot of a Mac when using them on bluetooth. If you're a Mac user and you are FileVault, the keyboard and mice will not reconnect while in bluetooth mode and you cannot enter your password. To get around this, you either have to turn off FileVault and leave your disk unencrypted, or you use the receiver plugged into a USB port. If you cannot log in because of FileVault being enabled and no connection to the keyboard and mouse, you'll have to find a wired keyboard and mouse that you plug in to log on.

Hello Robert. Thank you for your kind words about the combo! Unfortunately, as far as I know, the Bluetooth keyboard problem you are experiencing with your Mac and FileVault is common to all Bluetooth keyboards. Since the Mac doesn't connect the Bluetooth until the disk is started up, any Bluetooth keyboard is unusable until then. Like you said, the USB receiver will work because it is not using Bluetooth. This is an Apple issue, and not necessarily a Logitech or your specific keyboard issue. Please accept my apology for the confusion, and hopefully this hasn't spoiled our relationship with you and your computer peripheral needs.
