I estimate about 50-60 wpm is the sweet spot for this keyboard. The mouse works well.

Posted .Hello. Thank you for your review. The MK850 shouldn't need any set up, and should work as soon as you plug in the USB receiver. The USB is very small and usually in the cardboard packaging and often gets overlooked.

The wrist rest nicely on padded angle for comfort. The keys frequently stick which makes it difficult if you type fast for accuracy.

Doesn't live up to Logitech quality in my opinion

If that’s the case, then this is perfect for you. But compared to the rest of Logitech’s lineup of products I don’t think this package lives up to the name. I ended up returning mine because I didn’t like the way this keyboard felt and the mouse scrolled like sandpaper. I’d recommend spending a few more dollars and investing in a dedicated keyboard and mouse that Logitech offers.

I need a very responsive keyboard and mouse. There is a slight lag in this one. Probably good for surfing or writing, but definitely not for editing or gaming.

Nice, but a big disappointment for Mac users

If you're a Mac user and you are FileVault, the keyboard and mice will not reconnect while in bluetooth mode and you cannot enter your password. To get around this, you either have to turn off FileVault and leave your disk unencrypted, or you use the receiver plugged into a USB port. If you cannot log in because of FileVault being enabled and no connection to the keyboard and mouse, you'll have to find a wired keyboard and mouse that you plug in to log on.

Posted .Hello Robert. Thank you for your kind words about the combo! Unfortunately, as far as I know, the Bluetooth keyboard problem you are experiencing with your Mac and FileVault is common to all Bluetooth keyboards. Since the Mac doesn't connect the Bluetooth until the disk is started up, any Bluetooth keyboard is unusable until then. Like you said, the USB receiver will work because it is not using Bluetooth. This is an Apple issue, and not necessarily a Logitech or your specific keyboard issue. Please accept my apology for the confusion, and hopefully this hasn't spoiled our relationship with you and your computer peripheral needs.
