I do not like the scroll wheel; it is not at all smooth; it goes in jogs and is difficult to control. I would never buy it again. I really want to return it.

Very short Charge. Erratic, wireless connection needs to be established much too frequently. Once connected by Bluetooth should remain that way!

I've been a loyal Logitech customer since early 90s, but as much as I wanted to like this mouse, it's a big disappointment.

    Great mouse for traveling

Everything is excellent in this mouse. It's small to carry around, great battery life, being able to connect up to 3 device at the same time, and comfortable. The only thing that I have to complain is the scroll wheel button only changes how the scroll wheel roll (smooth, or with clicky noise). I used to click on the scroll wheel to open/close tabs on internet browser, but that button locates below the scroll wheel on this mouse instead.

It's what I expected and didn't disappoint. I took it right out of the box and used it immediately. The mouse can switch between multiple devices and the buttons are customizable. The mouse has Bluetooth so you don't need the USB if your device can connect to Bluetooth.

New Favorite Mouse - One Small Problem

    Posted .

This is one of the best mice I've ever had. It's extremely comfortable to use and it tracks really well. All of the buttons have a great feel and I especially like the scroll wheel. The mouse itself has 5 buttons - left click, right click, forward and back buttons by the thumb rest, and a 'gesture' button. Clicking the scroll wheel switches between normal scrolling and a fast scrolling, which was initially disappointed me. I use the middle click a lot to open multiple tabs and not having that in the scroll wheel is pretty awkward for me. You can remap the 'gesture' button right above the scroll wheel to be a middle click, but it's still not as natural to me. This is my only real problem with this mouse. You can connect to the mouse over Bluetooth or Logitech's Unifying adapter, which is nice. I like that you can do both and there are 3 presets that you can cycle between on the bottom of the mouse if you want to use the mouse on multiple devices. I do wish there was a spot to store the USB adapter in the mouse. Most other mobile mice I've seen have a spot to store their USB adapter under the battery cover. I only use my mouse over Bluetooth on one device though, so this wasn't really an issue for me. I find myself missing the middle click on the scroll wheel less and less as I use this. I still wish it was there, but everything else is just so good that it's not a deal breaker for me.

Great Successor of the original MX

I've been using anywhere MX mouse series since the first generation was released. I really liked the matt finish of the top surface in the first generation, but then got mad when Logitech changed it to a glossy one. This new MX 2 mouse thanksfully brought the original matt surface back and it feels really good when using it. Also I liked they finally brought the charging option to this product and I'm glad that I no longer need to worry about the battery warning message when I don't have one for replacement. One downside is that there is no storage for the unifying receiver, so difficult to keep it. Plus I don't understand why they did not include the carrying case they provided in the previous models. Overall, it's a great successor and worth to invest esp. if you are a heavy mouse user.

I love the small size of MX Anywhere 2 mouse. I had the original and it finally gave out. I hope this one last a little longer. It great for travel and the battery life has been excellent. Fits nicely into my messenger bag. Definitely recommend!

    Portability without sacrificing functionality

I don't write reviews often, but I felt like I had to for this incredible device. I purchased a Surface Pro 3 about two weeks ago and have been unimpressed with the trackpad on the type cover. Maybe that's just because I am spoiled by my primary device's (2011 MacBook Pro# incredible trackpad and the Apple Magic Mouse included in my home desktop setup. #I essentially converted my MacBook into a desktop workstation with two 24" monitors) Paired with the SP3, this mouse has greatly improved the power and efficiency of my mobile workstation.

    Nice mouse

Seems to be a nice wireless mouse. A bit on the small side. Especially like that it's rechargeable so not having to go through a lot of batteries. Being able to use dongal or bluetooth good, but could use a holder in the mouse for the dongal when not being used. Got for $30 off with purchase of computer. Probably would not have bought if it wasn't for this, and just used my old mouse.

    awesome mouse

This is by far the best wireless mouse I've had. There hasn't been a surface I've encountered that it didn't work on. I've used it on the sofa, in bed, on the carpet, on a glass table, etc. My only issue is that after turning it on and back off, it sometimes doesn't automatically connect to my MacBook Pro. So I have to search for it and reconnect. Otherwise, solid product.

    No More Mouse Pads!!!

I admit it... I was skeptical that this mouse would work on any surface without a mouse pad. Well I am here to tell you that it does work and does so spectacularly whether the surface is a laminate surface or even glass. I couldn't be happier or more impressed.

Great, but 8 months in its broken

(-)Says the battery last 2 months. I am lucky to get two weeks out of it. Logitech software is supposed to warn me when its low but never does. (I even have the required software downloaded and the option on for this) Led blinks when low BUT can't really see it when I'm using the mouse considering my hand is on it. (-) Scroll wheel is already broken after 8 months on use. Sits crooked now, doesn't turn very well, and does not scroll anymore in either mode (fast scroll or the one that clicks) (+)Works great on any thing I have tried it on. Even my glass table (straight glass no wood/metal underneath). (+)Very portable. Goes to school with me every week. I just turn it off while in my back pack. Virtually no lag between the time you turn it on to the time its usable. By the time you set it down its going. (+) The software is handy for hotkey options. Basically, for the price, this mouse does have some great features, mostly software based. I mainly bought it because it was rechargeable. For the amount paid though I expected it to last much longer than 8 months. With no scroll ability it really negates the use of the mouse.

I went through about 4 mice before settling on this one. I do cad work and my hand can really get sore with the wrong mouse. It is a great size and shape. Works on pretty much any surface including glass. Internal rechargeable battery is nice; lasts about 3 weeks.

    Good mouse, not great.

Overall, a pretty good mouse. The only real issue with it is the scroll wheel is a little wider than I would like, and is a bit loose. Still works, just a comfort thing. No issues with the USB connecting wireless to the computer. Not worth $60, but was worth the $30 I paid for it.
