It works much better than the first edition but some aspects are, in my opinion, not as good as the first Mx Anywhere mouse, but they're mostly trivial reasons as this mouse is still a very good mouse. The mouse having to not need for batteries actually made it much lighter which in turn, makes it feel cheaper as the added weight of the batteries gave the 1st Mx Anywhere mouse a sort of well built feel to it. There is less feedback of the scroll wheel than the first edition which I didn't like with this 2nd edition. But overall this mouse is great and works much better than the old one as it used to freeze and double-click or even not click at all.

I have my CPU hooked up to my 4K living room TV, so I needed a wireless mouse to comfortably navagate through [Game of Thrones episodes] work. That said, the mouse will still track over a fleece blanket and even on my golden retriever's back. It's not a high end gaming mouse with 800 buttons, but man does it work on any surface. the dpi scan is quick and precise on normal surfaces, but it will jump around (about a half a centemeter on a 4K 55" TV) if it's on a really rough surface like dog fur. I picked it up on sale for $61 before tax, so that put it in the mid-range value category for mice and a real bargan. Only downfall: I wish it were a bit larger to fit the hand better. Corsair, Gigabite, and Steelseries all sell mice with adjustable or heartier palm rests for cheaper. I wish Logitech would offer this mouse in a shape closer to their MX Revolution mouse.

I am a mechanical engineer and when I'm not using my 3D mouse for CAD this is my go to for all other work. Works great on any surface and is Bluetooth so I am always connected.

No issues with mouse so far, wireless does a good job and battery seems to hold up.

by far one of the best travel mice i've ever had, plenty of buttons/features (an option sorely lacking in many mice as of late). compact size for traveling but not too small to be uncomfortable even for my large hands. hopefully logitech never stops making them

It works great and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Only downsides is a shorter (but not short) battery life than the first model. This is okay though because it is rechargeable. I would not recommend putting the wireless dongle next to another USB port in use, that is when I notice mouse lag.

Works on any surface which is why I bought it. Works great, feels great, all around nice mouse. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is more expensive than most other mice but it tracks really well and is good for precision work.

This is a great mouse for everyday use, not too big and not too small.

Like it's big brother, this mouse works great for multiple machines. I use this amongst various laptops both Mac and PC. I don't like that the scroll wheel click seems to differ from the larger version of the mouse in that clicking it engages/disengages the smooth scroll. The smaller button behind it, which unlike every other version of this type of Logitech mouse, will result in opening a new tab. I'm so confused as to why this functionality seems to have been switched. Maybe this is a Mac thing and I just haven't noticed it on PC, but as of writing this, I'm almost 100% certain that is how it functions here. So switching between this and the larger version of this mouse can test your muscle memory, but if this were the only mouse you were exposed to, then you probably wouldn't even care.

I loved the old MX but it started acting up after 2 years. I decided to with the new version and love that it's rechargeable. Last a long time and easy to use.

I love this mouse!! I always used another logitec MX mouse that was very similar but it required a usb dongle. This mouse just feels so much better with the rubber grips on the sides, this mouse is ready to go "all terrain" without slipping out of your hands.

This is my second anywhere mouse. I like the previous one but bought this second one for it's bluetooth capability, and gave the previous one to my daughter as I knew she would like it. I use the anywhere mouse for my laptop, nice size and easily transportable.

This is my 4th dark field mouse from Logitech. Love the new look. I purchased mainly for Bluetooth support the Bluetooth requires 4.0LE support by your computer. My 2010 MacBook Pro still has to use the Logitech dongle. It's ok, time to upgrade the laptop soon.

I love the rechargeable feature. I don't have to carry batteries around in my computer bag anymore. It works on any surface and moves seamlessly.

This mouse has worked spectacularly well for me and here are the three reasons I rated it a five stars: 1) rechargeable - I never have to worry about having two AA or AAA. It lets me know when low power and I can keep using it while charging. Genius. 2) simultaneously connect to more than one device. It has three profiles that allow it to smoothly switch between them without disconnecting from any. 3) customize the wheel and buttons for Mac gestures. The mouse is entirely customizable for the Mac OS, replacing clicks with a variety of gestures. Love this!

This rechargeable mouse works great, holds a charge a long time. It's convenient for an extra mouse when the touch screen just doesn't quite cut it.

I use this with my laptop. Works on any surface and the battery last forever. Will also connect to multiple devices. Great product.

If you have time to search online or wait for email discount codes, it would make this THAT much better. But, if you're willing to spend the money right away, this mouse does it all. It's a great little mouse with neat features. Worth the investment.

My favorite thing about it is that you can connect it two ways to your computer: Bluetooth or via USB chip. It also looks really cool and is comfortable fit in hand. It's small enough to take to and from the office or traveling.
