Clear and bright image with solid microphones

Microphones are much better than my headset. It is missing the ability to do face scans to log into Windows. So if that is your need, this won't do. Mechanical privacy shutter is always nice.

The only step up would be to buy an actual DSLR camera, with wide angle lens and a capture card. For $200 there simple is nothing better.

Good camera, but …

Mostly the integrated shutter was appealing. Turns out an unexpected difference became a dealbreaker for me. The lack of support for facial recognition (Windows Hello) is a big no go for me. Sure, it’s pretty and the camera is good, although the predecessor wasn’t bad either. The new privacy shutter design is likely to “blame”, and maybe pure cost reduction, that the MX Brio lost a vital functionality… well, vital to me. The Black Friday special was good, but not good enough to to accept the reduced function. Hence, it’s going back.

A Premium Product

Though I was a bit confused about taking off the tape to stick it onto something, the picture clarity and adjustments you can make to the image makes this a good bang for the buck, especially for gaming.
