  • Bluetooth Keeps Losing Connection

    This keyboard is great and I would have given it 5 stars BUT there's a HUGE problem with the Bluetooth disconnecting on Macs. I have several Logitech keyboards and I love all of them. This is, in fact, the third of the MX keyboards I have purchase. Unfortunately all are plagued by a problem with the Bluetooth randomly losing connection. I write code for a living and sitting at this keyboard, 12-13 hours a day is a must. The configuration is perfect. The keys are perfect. The backlighting is awesome. The feel is great. But the Bluetooth is horrible. Typing away and suddenly, the connection is gone. You're tapping keys on the keyboard, shaking the mouse and finally, after 3-4 minutes it reconnects. Totally disrupts your workflow If you have the MX mouse (love it too), it will randomly be disconnected as well but ONLY if you have the MX keyboard paired using Bluetooth. This is most definitely a driver issue as the dongle has no problem. I have tested this on the multiple Macs I have connected to it via Bluetooth and all exhibit the same issue. I love this keyboard. I want SO BAD for it to be perfect, but it just isn't there. If you're going to use this keyboard, use the dongle. You'll thank me.

    Very heavy duty keyboard . It has some weight to it but you know it will last a long time.

    The device is great for writing for long periods. Comfortable, sturdy, customizable, and with a very reliable number pad. My only complaint is that the backlit keyboard stays on for short periods. Once you stop typing the backlit goes off in 2 seconds. To save battery, I guess. I haven't found a way to keep it on all the time, but so far hasn't become an annoyance.

    Good keyboard with multi device connection. Had to use usb connector because sometimes it would lose connection with MacBook while using Bluetooth. Other than that it’s a great keyboard with light up keys.

    Loving this keyboard so far. I was looking for something with backlit keys for my iMac, but Apple doesn't make one apparently. I was able to connect easily via Bluetooth directly, without having to use the dongle. My only issue so far is that I can't get the keyboard to connect to the "Logi Options" app to do any customization, etc. It does everything I need it to so far, so no big deal at this point.
