The backlight is white, and can be turned completely off or it has several brightness levels. I like that I can have it connected to three different devices and the media row keys are always helpful.

But above everything else, the typing experience is really good as it helps me type faster with more accuracy than my previous Logitech k780.

I have also purchased the larger keyboard with the number pad for my work and love that as well.
