Customers are saying

Customers admire the MX Keys S keyboard for its quality, comfortable key feel, and ease of use with both PC and Mac. The long battery life and wireless connectivity are also appreciated. Some find the keyboard to be expensive compared to alternatives, while others feel the size is smaller than expected for the price. Overall, the keyboard's positive attributes seem to outweigh the concerns.

    keys wear out graphics quickly

It is a great keyboard, works really well, but this isn't the first time I have had issues with logitech keyboards having the letters on the caps wearing off. Other $10 keyboards can manage to keep their keys in good shape after 10 years, why can a $100 + keyboard not keep its keys in good shape after 1. And in the past when I have contacted logitech for them to fix or replace the keyboard, they refuse and say it is "wear and tear"

Thanks for your feedback on the MX Keys S. It sounds like you've experienced durability issues with keycaps in the past. We appreciate you letting us know about the worn keycaps on your MX Keys S. But keycap wear can be affected by usage factors.

I don't know exactly what it is, but I hate it.

Coming from a Logitech K800, This MX KEYS S just can't compare to the much older much cheaper keyboards of the past. The build quility feels nice but there just feels like something is terribly off. My WPM went way down while errors tripled. It's hard to say what exactly it is that is so terrible. The keys seem to not register unless you fully bottom them out. The spacing between keys seems a bit excessive too which may be contributing to the increase errors. After using this keyboard for 2 months, I can still pull out the K800 and blow this thing out of the water. I would not recommend this keyboard. Also doesn't use the same dongle as the MX Master 2s or MX Verticle.

    Disconnected way too often

    Posted .

Had serious connectivity issues with both Bluetooth and the receiver. No matter which connection I used, it would randomly disconnect every 10 minutes or so. I would either have to wait about a minute until it started back up again or turn it off and turn it back on. Tried every troubleshooting option in the book and tried the keyboard on two different computers—same problem. I’m convinced I just got a lemon because a coworker of mine got this keyboard after me and has run into no issues like mine.

Be careful. I bought it; problems develop.

I bought this keyboard 6 months or so ago. It is a wireless keyboard. I particularly wanted a keyboard that did not "clack" when you typed. Although this keyboard met that standard, it now only works if it is plugged in with the charging cable. When I take it off, after a few minutes it types nothing. Of course, the Best Buy customer service is useless and I'm stuck with this no longer wireless keyboard. (I am very meticulous and the keyboard has remained pristinely clean.)

We're sorry to hear about the experience. We recommend resetting the keyboard by turning the keyboard off and the on and then press the key combinations - Esc+O (release) Esc+O (release) Esc+B, now all the easy switch will blink continuously. You can turn the keyboard off and on and the easy switch 1 will blink continuously indicating it is ready for pairing. If the issue persists, reach out to Logi Support and our dedicated team will find a solution.

A capable keyboard but they screwed up the retractable legs, and didn't put on non-skid rubber feet like they used to on the older models. The result is the keyboard slides all over the desk, making it effectively worthless.
