Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the ergonomic design, smooth scroll wheel, and excellent battery life of the MX Master 3 mouse. Many appreciate the high-quality build and the extensive customization options, along with its Bluetooth connectivity and multi-device capabilities. However, some find the mouse to be large and heavy. A few users have also reported issues with software consistency and occasional lag.

I’ve been a dedicated Microsoft ARC user the past five to six years. After my fourth ARC failure, I needed a change. The MX master has been the best mouse I’ve used. Hounds down. I have charged the battery once. The laser has worked on everything from company desk to the living room couch. A must during these days. Comfort is incredible. I don’t even notice it at the end of the day. Spreadsheet or 3D rendering, comfort is top notch. The only thing I miss is the portability of the arc during meetings.

I have moved from master mx to mx master 2s and now Mx master 3. This mouse is definitely an evolved product and I do recommend it highly. There are some functions that are new that work well. I would say that if you have the mx master 2s take your time before buying. The step up for the master 3 is a smaller jump than from the mx to mx 2s. The master 3 is a smaller mouse and the thumb wheel is in a different location (higher up) that takes some getting used to.

This mouse is awesome! It is easy to set it up. I downloaded the software to my computer and I didn't have to use the chip any longer. There is seamless use across equipment. Everything is right at your finger tip. It minimizes the constant movement and you can change pages with the push of a side button. It works on my glass table top desk without a mouse pad as it does on a wood desk with a mouse pad. I love this mouse and I would use anything different.

The title says it all!! Build quality is excellent. Works great on every surface I’ve tried. Software on this is really great...you can program what the buttons do PER APP you use. Is has preloaded button assignments if you want to use them. Example, instead of using the side scroll wheel to side scroll, maybe it’s used to quickly switch tabs in your browser!! It’s so cool!! And very precise. I still have a 500series mouse from years ago. These are meant to last so get the best you can. You won’t regret it.

Googled for a reliable multi-purpose travel mouse. I came across Logitech. Researched and finally came down to the MX Master 3. Go on the website and see what it is capable of for yourself. Link below. The fact that you have the option to use bluetooth or the included USB adapter was a great option. USB-C connects to the mouse and from mouse USB-A to charge. This helped to increase my productivity. Well worth it! https://www.logitech.com/en-us/products/mice/mx-master-3.910-005620.html?crid=7

I haven't been keen on many logitech mice lately, but all I can say is "the master is still the master" For productivity workloads, there is nothing even close, IMO. The scroll wheels make your work go 5x as fast, and if you actually set up macros, this thing can save a lot of time in your day. If you're on the fence and feel guilty for "coveting" this mouse .... just buy it and get it over with. stop spending 40-60% on mice that aren't even 20% of the product that this one is.

This has been a great mouse for the 3 weeks that I've been using it. It feels great to hold, works well, and its great being able to customize all the buttons. Not all programs will let you program the buttons to work how you'd like them to though, and every now and then when switching between displays I would notice some cursor lag where it would slightly skip around the screen, but quickly cycling through the displays fixed the issue. I'm experimenting with using the dongle that it came with, as opposed to using the Bluetooth from my computer, and so far that seems to be a stronger and smoother connection. Oh! Being able to copy and paste files from a mac to a PC, and having my Logitech keyboard also automatically switch displays with the mouse, is the best thing ever! It not the fastest transfer rate ever but saved me the hassle of emailing something to myself or using a thumb drive to transfer files. I'd love this mouse even more if it was more like $70, but still great.

I am the type of guy that researches and compares everything online before I buy something. I couldn't find anything negative online about this mouse. It is touted as the best wireless mouse. I am a programmer and even though I rarely use the mouse, when I do, it is very comforable and love the scrolling wheel. When I need to get to the very top/bottom of a page I just flick the wheel and it just goes and it is silent!

Pros: * thumb/horizontal scroll - a huge huge benefit for someone like me who lives in excel * multi-device easy switch - which is nice to have, but wasn't a must for me. I used it a couple of times, but then I no longer use them as I can't use this mouse for gaming so anyway I need a mouse for work and another one for gaming * USB c charging - no more battery, but anyway heavy mouse * ergonomic design Cons: * S.M.A.R.T. SCROLLING - awful engineering. inconsistent application of smart scrolling. I still prefer my 3 years old m705 marathon mouse's scroll. You click on the button to toggle infinite scrolling. Very basic. Works as you maneuver. This smart scrolling automatically switches the scroll to infinite scrolling when you flick on it, but it's just inconsistent. And it is pain in the butt because you actually need to pay attention for such a basic function. I noticed that there a few people who commented on this, and I am one of them who returned the mouse primarily because of this malfunction. * clicks make cheap loud sound and different click sound on the left and right clicks. Pretty annoying to hear at a $100 mouse. I am a long time Logitech fan, and my 10 years old Logitech G5 and $15 G203 * This can be a little big for small/medium hands * Maybe regardless of your hand size because of how it's designed (you can lay your thumb on the mouse), it forces you to change your grip type to palm grip. This can be good and bad. I have used claw grip all time and could use palm grip for certain games. However, I cannot adapt palm grip for work-related tasks. But I said that this can be good just because for people suffering from wrist pain. Lastly, I didn't use and will not use one of the main feature of this mouse and that is assigning and customizing keys for each applications. As a person who lives in excel spreadsheets and PDF docs and browses internet all day, my main needs are 1 to 1 feedback scrolling, horizontal scroll, decent ergonomic design, and wireless. That said, I most likely will purchase another m705 marathon mouse that broke while it was on my backpack. Or when I went to the store in person, I really liked the grip and key stroke of the mk850 keyboard and mouse set. I will be returning this and mouse the MX keys keyboard as well. it's too low in profile that my hands and fingers actually get tense and tired more easily. And along on the same line, it doesn't worth $100. These sets are pretty though. If only thing you care about is cosmetic.

    • Brand response from Logitech

Hi sorry to see you're unsatisfied with the MX Keys Advanced keyboard. Since this keyboard doesn't have a kickstand to prop it up higher, that might be the reason for your finger fatigue. The MK850 combo has that feature which may be a better choice for you. Hope that helps!

Replacing my old Performance MX after many years of service. Micro switches finally gave out. This one is comfortable, accurate, and the multi computer connection is a nice bonus, but $100 is a big ask. Not sure it’s worth that much, will have to see how long it lasts.
