This one comes with a soft click so you can never hear when you’re clicking the mouse, me personally I don’t like the soft click but just as good as the previous model material is a little different.

I wanted more capabilities than a Magic Mouse to use with non-Apple CAD and graphics programs. Additionally, the side roller will move the screen sideways. And I'm still learning the rest of the programmability features.
