This is my second MX Master of this series - the scroll wheel on the 1st one started becoming intermittent after 4+ years of daily use including getting beat up during international travel. Both of these mice have been the best and most comfortable I have ever used and this 3S model has little improvements that are very nice. I recommend it!

Logitech has definitely set itself apart lately when it comes to computer mice which with this new mouse they have only improved upon the original mx master 3. I have been a major proponent of the original mx master 3 mouse as it was perfect in all elements to which now I have a new go to. Firstly, right out of the box the design is essentially identical to the mx master 3 to which in my opinion there was no room for improvement in that respect. You can tell that Logitech is really focusing on quality with this mouse as it has just enough heft, but is not too cumbersome while also feeling very premium in your hand. Getting this mouse connected to my devices and switching between them for that matter is as simple as ever and will only take you a minute before you are up and running. The one major new feature that I really appreciate is the reduced noise of the mouse clicks as it is a noticeable difference that is extremely nice for the workplace setting. It`s also hard to describe, but the buttons also feel softer in comparison to the prior model to which I really like and may coincide with the reduced sound of the clicks. The other thing I really like was the improved sensor as there are times where I have to take my laptop with me and for those instances where I have had the annoying glass surface this mouse actually works exponentially better than any other mouse I have used. The scroll wheel and overall feel of the mouse in my hand are exceptional as ever and definitely stand out above the rest. Additionally, the new Options+ software looks a lot better than the previous version and makes it extremely easy to reassign any buttons/functions. A cool feature was that if your mouse is paired to two separate devices you can even copy and paste between machines which it isn`t something I use often though it has come in handy a couple times. As similar to the last version the battery life is great and will last me nearly a month to which the included USB-C cable charges the mouse very quick. Overall, again Logitech has outdone themselves here and set the standard for wireless mice as nearly everything you could ask for has been packed into this mouse and now improved even further. From the comfort, battery life, and improved sensors and usability I would not hesitate to recommend this mouse in any respect.

I really dislike that Logitech changed the mouse buttons to be silent. I like hearing the clicking sound, it reassuring. At least Logitech should give us an option for clicky or silent.

This mouse is simply amazing. I wasn't really sure what to expect at this price point. It's certainly not a cheap mouse, but I've used much more expensive hardware as well. I have to say that this stands up against any of the high end mice that I've had my hands on. I'm using this on a MacBook pro laptop and I couldn't be happier. Setup was really simple. I loaded up the correct version of the Logitech software and connected it via BT. All of the buttons on scroll wheels are awesome once you get used to what they do. I particularly love the extra thumb button. It allows me to do all of the things that I would typically do on my laptop trackpad. If you're a mac user you know what I mean. 2 finger and 3 finger swipe stuff to easily switch between apps and desktops. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, but now I don't even think about it. One feature that I love is the ability to customize the mouse for individual applications. It comes preset with custom button mapping for many common apps like MS Office, Teams, Zoom, etc. When you walk through the setup software, it lets you choose which, if any of the customer app settings you'd like to use. You can always add or remove them later from that same software. It has a couple of side button that are mapped to things like copy/paste or camera and mic on/off controls. It's super convenient once you get used to what button do in specific apps. I love it. The DPI is fantastic. I can really only use it effectively at like 1200. Any higher and the mouse is just too sensitive, but I'm sure that hard core gamer could really make use of that sensitivity. The cursor us super smooth and I don't see any jitters or jumps when I'm using it on top of my desk. I don't even have a mouse pad and it's still amazing. The main scroll wheel is really cool. You can customize how much things move when you use it, and with the click of a button, the magnetic tactile feedback turn off and you can freewheel it as fast as you like. If you spin it and then don't touch it, it will just keep spinning. I don't know why you'd need to do that, but it's cool. It's great for gaming. Very easy to set up buttons to do what you like, and the clicks are very responsive. You don't have to push the button very far to activate and they are nearly silent. It also supports multiple devices, and you can switch between them with the click of a button. I also have it set up for my iPad and it works very well. I believe there is a feature that lets you control 2 devices at the same time, but I haven't had a need to play with that yet. I can see where that might be nice if you are a streamer and need to control your video rig separately from your gaming rig. The bottom line is that this is an amazing mouse with so many features packed into it. It doesn't have all kinds of cool lighting effect like many "gaming mice", but it is super smooth, very comfortable, and highly customizable, and affordable. I highly recommend.

The MX Master 3S is a fantastic mouse that has so many features. I have been using the MX Master 3 as my go to mouse for over a year now, and I thought the mouse couldn’t get any better…that was until I started using the MX 3S. The subtle changes are a huge improvement to an already impressive mouse, but more about that later. Inside the box contains the MX Master 3S, and a USB-C charging cable. The mouse features 2 scrolling wheels, one by the thumb and the other in between the left and right click. Speaking of click, one of the features introduced into the 3S is “Quiet Clicks”. Logitech has managed to make the mouse buttons silent when clicking now. This doesn’t stop at the buttons; they also incorporated Quiet Clicks into the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel at the top of the mouse features 2 different modes; tactile – which gives you more precision, and fast scrolling – which is able to scroll as fast as 1,000 lines per second. Even the 2 buttons that are located by your thumb are completely silent when clicked. On the bottom of the mouse features a button that when pressed, let’s you switch between 3 different devices like your iMac, MacBook, or iPad. The MX 3S now has a new senser that can track up to 8,000 DPI, which is doubled from the last model. The mouse can also track on most surfaces, including glass. The 3S also features gestures, this is an incredible useful feature that lets you navigate your computer or enter commands simply by holding a button and moving the mouse in a certain direction. You can customize what gesture does what in the Logi Options+ software. This is also where you can change the DPI settings of the mouse. The software is extremely easy to use and understand, there are walk-through guides as well as detailed pictures to help you customize your mouse the way you want to. The battery life on the 3S is amazing, with the ultra-fast charge time, you can get 3 hours from just 1 minute of charging. On a full charge, the battery lasts up to 70 days, which is both amazing and convenient to not have to worry about replacing batteries, or constantly having to charge the mouse every other day. Overall, I love the MX 3S. Logitech managed to take an amazing mouse and found a way to make it even better. The quiet clicks feel great to use and are supper responsive. The mouse feels so comfortable to use, it just fits perfectly in your hand. The 8k DPI is incredibly fast and accurate, and I can even use this on a glass surface without a problem. Add to that the gestures and long battery life, and you have a perfect mouse! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new mouse.

It's been a really long time since I've used a computer mouse that I've properly liked, but this one is definitely a good one. I have large hands, but it accommodates them just fine without squishing my fingers when I grip the mouse. Overall, it's just really comfortable. I can use the mouse for long periods of time with no issues, and even though it's a really clunky mouse that's kind of a pain to transport it's totally worth it. Aside from the ergonomics being wonderful, there's a lot to like in terms of functionality as well. The Logitech Options+ software lets you configure the mouse to your exact preferences, but best of all you can give it app-specific settings: for instance, I can set the back/forward keys to be shortcuts in Excel or volume adjusters in media apps. The function of the side scroll bar can be swapped as well. The program even can show you exactly what devices are connected to the mouse in case you forget what's connected to what slot, and it has a handy battery indicator. I do wish Logitech would better differentiate between Options and Options+ so I wouldn't keep downloading the wrong one, but that's mostly a slight nitpick. Despite being a mouse designed for Mac, it does well on Windows and iPadOS too. On the iPad, it's a pretty basic little thing, but it's nice to have if you're using the iPad as a laptop. There's no configuration for it, but that's to be expected. On Windows, the mouse will even prompt you to install Logitech Options+ on it's own with a notification so that you don't download the wrong one again, and it can pair without having to open the entire Bluetooth menu (assuming you're connecting via Bluetooth rather than a programmable Bolt USB). Regardless of whether you're using Bolt or Bluetooth, the connection experience has been much the same for me (though Windows handles Bluetooth better as far as still being extensibly configurable goes). It's seamless, there's no lag I've noticed, and the mouse is just smooth all around. Probably my favorite two things are the USB-C charging and the three devices. Since I need a Windows computer for certain things but swap between an iPad and a MacBook for most other things, having a mouse that works with all devices with a simple button tap is utterly great. Unless you're after a vertical mouse, a trackball, or a mouse with RGB; there's really no reason I wouldn't recommend this thing. It's even got quiet clicks and a scroll wheel with adjustable modes. As of yet I still haven't found something I don't like about this thing. I would definitely recommend this - hands down the best mouse I've had.

Great "Windows" Experience for the Mac Ecosystem

If you have been a dual OS guy who switches between Windows and MacOS, you know that something is quite missing from your otherwise excellent MacOS experience, especially when you use your mac for video and photo editing. Mouse is much more common in the Windows ecosystem. The Logitech MX Master 3S gives you reliable conventional mouse experience for MacOS. This specific model is designed to work with MacOS so it’s important to get the model number right if you want to get a mouse that works with Windows. This is an ergonomic and comfortable mouse to use. The build quality feels great and durable. You connect the mouse to your Mac via Bluetooth LE. Battery life is also very good and will last for more than a month. I like the fact that it comes with built-in battery. Just 1 minute of charging, it can give you 3 hours of battery. The click sound is very quiet. If you want to pair it with external dongle, it will only work with the new Logi bolt dongle that you have to purchase separately. It will not pair with other Logitech dongle that comes with your older keyboard and mouse. It’s an accurate mouse with 8K DPI sensor, and it gives you a lot of buttons and scrolls that you can customize/ remap further. You have to install the Logitech software in order to scroll smoothly with the mouse; just enable the smooth scrolling feature. The main use for the mouse is office works and it’s also great for video editing and graphic design as it got horizontal scroll and you can remap the button. Logitech even made a big deal about its partnership with Adobe to give better experience for Creative Cloud users. This is not a mouse that you want to rely on if you do gaming competitively, well no one that I know of use would prefer to use Mac for competitive gaming anyway. This is a big mouse that you want to place it on your office desk and the mouse needs enough space to work effectively. It’s quite bulky so if you want to carry it around with your Macbook, you need to toss it to your backpack as it will not fit most laptop sleeves along with your laptop. Cool tip, this mouse works with iPads, too. So if you got an iPad Pro 12.9 with Bluetooth keyboard, this mouse will complete that setup very nicely. Overall, this is a great mouse for the Mac ecosystem.

The Logitech MX Master, Logitech MX Master 3, and the Logitech MX Master 3s including the Mac versions are superb office mice (and in my opinion very suitable for casual style gaming) belong to the same lineup. The Master 3s is the third updated version of the original and has a functional increase in usability along with retaining the existing superb human factors of interface design utilized in the design for the preceding two versions. Logi has retained the premium-feeling scroll wheels, the thumb rest and convenient scroll wheel and buttons. It connects wirelessly through Bluetooth or the included USB receiver and can pair with up to three devices simultaneously for easy switching between them. Note: Just for gamers, competitive people, and those needing a short escape from whatever – the 8000 dpi sensor of the 3s (better for casual gaming) – allows you to play a game now and then – you do don’t you? The added precision also allows for better more precise drawing. The much quieter key clicks (along with the same effort) for me equals less aural fatigue. The overall design ergonomics and construction provide a mouse that is a true pleasure to use that should be serviceable for many years. This mouse truly puts you on the fast-track.

I recently purchased the Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac Bluetooth Laser Mouse in Space Gray, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. This mouse is truly a game-changer for anyone who spends a significant amount of time working on a computer. The first thing you'll notice about the MX Master 3S is its impeccable build quality. Logitech has crafted this mouse with premium materials that not only feel great in hand but also look sleek and professional on any desk setup. The Space Gray color perfectly complements my Mac, adding a touch of elegance to my workspace. One of the standout features of this mouse is its ergonomic design. The MX Master 3S is meticulously contoured to fit the natural shape of your hand. As someone who spends hours on end at the computer, having a mouse that supports my hand and wrist is crucial. The well-thought-out design allows my palm to rest comfortably, reducing strain and preventing fatigue even after prolonged use. The thumb rest is perfectly positioned, providing additional support and comfort. The ultrafast scrolling feature is another highlight. Whether I'm browsing through lengthy documents or scrolling through web pages, the precision and speed of the scroll wheel are unmatched. The MagSpeed Electromagnetic scrolling is incredibly smooth and silent, making the whole experience seamless and efficient. You can easily switch between ratchet and hyper-fast scrolling modes, which is a fantastic addition for different types of tasks. Connecting the MX Master 3S to my Mac was effortless. The Bluetooth connectivity is robust and reliable, with no lag or dropouts. The mouse's performance is top-notch, with accurate and responsive tracking on various surfaces. The laser sensor ensures precise movements, making it ideal for detailed graphic design work or gaming. The Logitech Options software allows for extensive customization, tailoring the mouse's buttons and functions to suit your workflow perfectly. Whether you need specific shortcuts for your applications or want to adjust the sensitivity, the software provides all the necessary tools to optimize your experience. Lastly, the battery life is exceptional. A full charge lasts for weeks, and even a quick charge can provide hours of use. This reliability means I don't have to worry about the mouse dying in the middle of an important task. In conclusion, the Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac is an outstanding investment for anyone seeking a high-quality, ergonomic, and versatile mouse. Its superior build, comfortable design, and advanced features make it a must-have accessory for Mac users. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their productivity and comfort!

This is a very nice mouse. I am using it with my new MacBook Air. The black blends well with the color of the MacBook. I have to say this was the easiest mouse I have set up. There were no wires that needed to be connected, just connect via bluetooth. It took literally seconds. The mouse is very responsive. The roller ball on top works well. I was able to navigate on the web and other apps with ease. The shape of the mouse is very comfortable to grip. It has a space for your thumb to lay, making it extra comfortable. All of the buttons are easy to navigate. I do wish it at least came with a guide as to what the silver button does. Still trying to figure that out, along with the two buttons beneath it. Not a big deal. There is a cord included to charge the mouse. It is supposed to stay charged for a few days. It is also supposed to be able to work with some iPads, I will have to try that next, just to see, but I only plan to use this with my MacBooks. It takes seconds to pair to different devices. I am very pleased with this mouse. I highly recommend it.

Logitech makes some of the best mice and keyboards and the MX Master 3S for Mac provides exceptional performance and accuracy. The mouse features USB-C charging and an LED light on the side of the mouse provides an indication of charging state of the mouse. On the underside of the mouse is a slide switch that turns the mouse on and off so you can save the battery while it is not in use. There is also another button that allows you to switch between one of three paired Macs. This is especially useful if you have a Mac desktop at home and a MacBook Pro/Air for use while on the move. The mouse is exceptionally comfortable to use in the hand, even for extended periods of time. I mentioned above that the mouse is highly accurate, this is in part due to the 8K DPI sensor. When using the mouse with applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator or Unity 3D, you'll appreciate this accuracy. The mouse is also compatible with iPadOS and so the third device you can pair this mouse with, could be an iPad.

The Logitech MX Master series of mice is, in my opinion, host to some of the best productivity mice ever designed. They're comfortable, feature rich, durable, and work on just about any surface you might come across. The newest mac focused version carries on this tradition, opting to refine what works rather than reinvent the wheel. My first impression on getting the mouse out of the box were positive. Unlike a lot of Logitech's more gaming focused offerings this mouse puts a high priority on battery life, and it's reflected in the heavy (though not uncomfortable) feel in the hand. The shape is only subtly refined from the previous versions of the MX master, which were essentially identical to one another. They've lengthened and narrowed the body somewhat, which I'll admit I found to be slightly less comfortable to hold than the old form factor but my girlfriend (who has smaller hands than me) rather liked. You also get two machined metal wheels, one operated by your thumb and the other by the middle finger. The vertical wheel has an updated version of their smooth scroll tech which lets it dynamically switch between providing detents or just a smooth wheel depending on how fast you flick the wheel. While this seems like a very small detail I've found it invaluable for scrolling through code, documents, or web pages quickly. The rest of the buttons are springy and remarkably silent. While I wouldn't generally call Logitech mice loud they very much feel like it when compared to this one, which seems to talk exclusively in polite whispers. The only thing I found somewhat disappointing is the decision not to include a USB receiver like you get in the PC branded version, which in my experience generally offers more reliable performance than Bluetooth. Granted this isn't something that would work with a lot of modern macs, but it seems like it would be nice to have regardless. The Bluetooth pairing process is straightforward, and if that's all you want to do you can be ready to go in just a few seconds. Power users however will likely want to take the time to install the Logi Options+ utility, which allows for more detailed customization and unlocks a lot of the mouse's more flashy features including the ability to seamlessly move between multiple paired devices on the same network, per application control mapping, and adjusting the sensitivity on the optical sensor. Having dedicated buttons for undo/redo and using the side wheel to adjust the brush size in photoshop seems like it could have a huge impact on my overall workflow, though admittedly I suspect it will take me a while to retrain myself to reliably use them. And, in case anyone was wondering, it works just as well on PC. The only thing that left me somewhat confused is what exactly makes this a "Mac" mouse as opposed to just a standard MX Master 3S (which, it should be pointed out, also works with mac and has access to the same utilities.) From where I sit it kind of looks like they just decided to slap a new slip cover on the box rather than changing the design. That said I'm also not entirely sure that's a bad thing when the base product is already this good. As such even with the somewhat confusing branding, I have no issues recommending it to anyone looking for a high quality Bluetooth mouse, regardless of your platform of choice.
