Would find a demo to try before buying it. I also had problems with a choppy signal. Didn't have a clear line of sight ... but not a bad one either. Overall the mouse just wasn't for me.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 3 weeks of light use the scroll wheel has started making a really annoying grinding/rattle noise which is apparently a common problem. It still functions normally but makes it feel like a cheap piece of junk instead of a $100 premium mouse. The Ultrafast Scroll wheel is more of a gimmick than anything. If you use free spin mode, the rattle stops, but every time the scroll wheel comes to a stop it jerks the opposite direction for a few lines of text. It makes an attempt to be ergonomic, but unless you have super tiny hands it's not that comfortable to use. I know they're making it heavy to give it a premium feel but they took it too far and it's just annoying. The only good things about the mouse are the silent click buttons and the texture. Overall this is a poor value.
