Decent Mouse

Seems to work better outside of USB3, and you may need a USB extender to get the receiver closer to the mouse and further away from potential interference.

A Good Solid Mouse

It's a feature that I now wish all mice had. The side-scrolling is also very useful when working with larger spreadsheets and content. The finish on this also means that it will require a lot of care because it easily gets dirty especially with high usage. The Bolt receiver is generally OK but leaves plenty of room for improvement. Searching online you see many issues with the reception, and I personally experienced it as well. Apparently, connecting to a slower USB 2.0 hubs is the solution. This is unacceptable for a modern mouse at this price point. What's worse is that their own software, Options+, claims to SUPPORT firmware upgrade for these mice, but doesn't actually work. This has been known for many years for other devices too, but Logitech hasn't fixed it. So, you are stuck with whatever factory firmware your device comes with. In my case, that means that there are fixes that I will likely never get. So, in summary, if the mouse works OK in your environment out of the box, then you are in luck. Otherwise, don't count on Logitech's support or any future fixes.

Solid Feel. Occasionally Jittery.

However on occasion the pointer will appear to be jittery or lagging, as if it's overloaded somehow. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's very noticeable when it does. But it always goes away after a few seconds.
