Seems to work better outside of USB3, and you may need a USB extender to get the receiver closer to the mouse and further away from potential interference.

It did help. I was surprised how much it helped. It replaced my Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse. The Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse is just a little too small. I love the side scroll feature. I also love the free scroll feature. I work with large files and this feature comes in handy. The form is very comfortable.

That said, it is a great piece of equipment. Lots of functions made easy to access with this mouse (too many on the thumb if you ask me). Slight discomfort in my thumb which I ascribe to arthritis, not the mouse. Money well spent.
