After almost exactly two years the click stopped working and this is now a hunk of hazardous e-waste. You can find similar mice online for around $15 - $20 (with normal, removable batteries!), so just go for one of those instead because this doesn't last.

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was a purchase for a ergonomic improvement - a large mouse with an angled grip to reduce wrist and hand pain from repetitive use of twisted forearm required to manipulate a traditional "flat" mouse. The software installed for managing the mouse never seemed to notify me when my battery needed charging, so I'd sometimes find it dead. I liked that it could be paired to multiple computers and switched for which one, so I used Bluetooth for my Mac and the USB dongle for connecting wirelessly to my Windows workstation that doesn't have Bluetooth. Unfortunately, like many users, I found the left mouse button started to fail after about 18 months... the button fails to register a press or click, or when holding and dragging you get a click but the mouse releases the click prematurely. The ratings at BestBuy are good, but do some searching for MX Master 3S button failure and you will find many stories. There are some youtube videos about replacing the defective switch. I think I'll just be searching for an ergonomic replacement from another manufacturer.

Critical flaw with scroll wheel

Flicks of the wheel are fine. Slow rolls of the wheel are fine. But if you scroll too aggressively or jerky like me sometimes, this mouse fails to detect it while little every other mouse has no issues. As for clicking, at first it feels kind of mushy but you get used to it after a few hours and makes going back to loud mice unpleasant. Ergonomics are great, but the mouse is a little on the heavy side for my liking. Save money and get the m720. It has most of the features this has.

I prefer this version over the older one due to its quietness on clicking. I enjoy clicking the mouse without the noise.
