I was expecting the scroll to be a bit faster in the unlocked setting but it’s still a huge improvement from my previous mouse. Still working with the programmable buttons to get it set up. Really accurate too.

Oh well, the glide on this thing is godly! I've been around a lot of mice in my day. I thought the magic mouse was the best thing since sliced bread. I was wrong MX S3 really is in a class of its own it also has the 8k DPI if you're a gamer then this mouse is also useful to you!

Hands down the best, fastest and most versatile mouse I've ever used. I've already turned everyone I know onto it, and they've all gotten one... and love it just as much as I do.

The click is a lot quieter than the mx master 3, and i didnt appreciate that until i owned this one, but it shouldnt be a big impact on deciding between the 3 and 3s. The one quark ive noticed is when you scroll veritcal and then horizontal immediately, you need to pause a second, or it will continie to scroll in the direction you first started. The reciever is also updated now and it doesnt connect to the orange logo unifying receivers.

Old one was better.

The biggest change here that I can see is that the old mouse allowed you to use the task button without installing the Options+ software....now you cannot. This obviously isn't ideal if you are using it with a work machine that you can't install software on but still want a good mouse.

No need of a mousepad or mate surface, it can be if use in glare table. In PR they dont want to match the app price, that was a down for me so I got it in FL.

I never realized I needed forward/back buttons, a "Show Desktop" button, and a horizontal scroll. I love it. I have the matching MX Mechanical keyboard.

Mushy clicking is not what an MX Master should be

Countless times I've recommended it to friends and colleagues. However, the 3S is NOT a good product if you like a responsive click to your mouse. It's mushy, unpleasant and unclear (sometimes) if you've actually clicked the buttons. If you don't care about that, then sure, go for it. But otherwise, avoid the 3S.

Great Mouse and Great Design but lacks the purpose

While working with Flow and switched to different computer this mice doesn't work. Need to turn off and wait for few seconds and turn it on again. I was there were switching computer buttons on the top like M720. For $100, without proper Flow and easy switch not worth it.
