Same relative design feature as the previous version, so it felt similar. Hopefully, this will last as long.

This was a replacement unit for my M510, which seemed to start skipping. This mouse met and exceeded my expectations. I tried two other mice and realized what I needed. Albeit on the higher-priced side, you get what you pay for. I recommend it.

Setup was super easy after downloading the software to program the buttons. The customizability allows you to increase your productivity over a normal mouse. Mouse also feels good in your hand.

Quality mouse but weak wireless performance.

High DPI, free spin scroll, plenty of buttons and horizontal scroll wheel. Great build quality. Unfortunately I couldn't use this mouse because of interference of the other wireless items at my desk. For that I'm knocking off a star since the Razer mouse it's replacing worked fine until a button wore out. Also, if you have small hands this mouse might be a little big for you.

I had a 2S at my last job, when I started my new I lasted all of 2 days without an MX Master. While I don't notice much functional difference, it still can't be beat, I bought another for my Macbook at home too.

Actually, there are some many possibilities with it you just have to dive in one at a time. Great scrolling. Full size feel. Vertical scrolling OR scrolling through open desktops. The battery life is beyond awesome.

Having a $100 seems crazy until you use it

It has great battery life and can be wired, wireless or Bluetooth and can swap devices with one button. The scroll wheel is awesome and the displays did not do it justice it is magnetic locked and automatically switches to fast scrolling mode. The buttons are quiet which is nice for offices and it has a side scrolling wheel which is a must have for scrolling timelines and spreadsheets. It also has a hidden 5in1 macro button on the thumb rest and 2 side buttons as well. If you want to get work done get this mouse.

Quality but no memory

I love the overall feel and the response time is great on WiFi or Bluetooth. My only qualm is that there is no onboard memory, meaning you have to install Logitech software to customize the functionality of any buttons.

Get this mouse if you use spreadsheets!

This is also a huge ergonomic improvement from the last version. I wish it had adjustable dpi for the price with varying speeds, but other than that, I highly recommend. I also use this for noncompetitive gaming since it sits comfortably in the hand. Note that I don't rate anything a 5 since I anticipate improvements in future models.
