Great Mouse for Work and Play!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse to go along with my ASUS G74-BBK9 and it works great! The battery life is long and I love the fact that you can CHARGE WHILE YOU USE IT! Just plug it into a usb port with the provided cable and it'll charge itself up while you play/work. The option to free scroll or manually scroll is nice since the manual helps with gaming, but the free scroll works well to go through long web pages quickly. THE PRICE IS WORTH THE QUALITY! When it comes to electronics, don't shop by price because you get what you pay for. Cheap accessories or PC's will have you coming to Geek Squad or shipping to the manufacturer all of the time. Look for quality to begin with and you'll have a long lasting stable product.

Excellent Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent, comfortable, wireless mouse. It is rechargeable via USB so there is no charging plate and you can still use it while it is charging. It has worked for 14 days now on a charge and is still going strong. It does have a charge indicator so you can see the charge level. Further it has the new unifying receiver so one small USB device can control up to 6 devices. I have my keyboard and mouse on the single receiver. This mouse is quite comfortable and I have found it to be precise and extrememly functional. For my hand everything is where it should be. It was a breeze to setup and I am replacing all my mice with this one and keyboards with the Logitech K800, both are fantastic.

Great Connectivity but Cheap Scroll Wheel..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this MX Performance mouse to replace my Logitech MX620. After 5 years, it had started to do double-clicks, even when only a single click was required. According to the consumer forums, this problem was common in the MX620 after a couple of years of use. My primary reason for staying with Logitech is because of the large size of the MX Performance mouse. I'm a middle aged business owner with large hands. I need the heft and size that the MX provides. I didn't like the idea of having to plug in the mouse every so often to recharge it, but so far, the charge is lasting well through the first 4 days of use. Though it is hard to understand why Logitech would deviate from a once-a-year battery change, to a system where the darn thing needs to be plugged in every xxx hours of use. The scroll wheel spins too easily and there should be a little adjustment to give it more friction. It's an annoyance to have pages bounce when you take your finger off the scroll wheel, but I suppose nothing is perfect. Anyway, the bottom line is SO FAR.. SO GOOD.

Logitech - Performance Mouse MX
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Mouse for long hours working. This is the office mouse of choice. I spend hours in office document and spreadsheet. I have been using this model for the last 5 years Great hand support - your entire hand can rest on this mouse , reducing arm strain. The Blue laser allows it to work perfectly on nearly any surface, even glass and cloth.

Works great for work and play
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this mouse. I purchased it to replace my Logitech MX Revolution, which finally died after 4 years of serious use. Like the MX Revolution this mouse fits my hand really well, buttons are easy to use and works well on my Windows 7 64-bit high-end gaming machine. Mouse performs great for work and playing games. It is a little high on the price but if it lasts as long as the previous MX Revolution did, it will be worth it. Battery life lasts about 2 days but you can use it while plugged into the charger. Software installed perfectly and mouse works great without a hitch on all my software and games.

A Great Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is possibly the most comfortable mouse I have used. I would DEFINITELY recommend whoever purchases this mouse to download the "Logitech Set Point" software that is free on their website. This software allows you to freely customize the bindings to the 7 buttons (11 if you include the four directions the mouse-wheel can move) and change between different configurations depending on the program running. Since I was so pleased using this mouse at home I even decided to buy a second one to use for work. The fact that the black-laser works on all surfaces is great when traveling. Additionally, since my mouse is always next to the laptop, one can even remove the rechargeable battery and just leave the mouse attached via the charging cable. My only con would be the short battery life when you use a lot of keystrokes on the mouse, but that's expected.

Best mouse out there
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used numerous mice over the course of my life and almost all of them were lacking in some way/shape/form. Having used this mouse for over a year now, it's probably the best mouse I've ever used. For me, the ergonomics of this mouse are perfect. The dongle is super tiny so it's not as big or unwieldy as other ones. Button layout is good and battery life is very good. Only real con I can think of is that it might be too big for some people. For those accustomed to mid/small sized mice this might be a big step up for them. For those with larger hands, I think this will work out just fine for them.

Sweet mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a mouse with a good design this is it. I do suggest getting a gel wrist pad as it will help out when using this or any mouse. You can plug and go with this mouse no problems, but if you want the ability to customize the buttons you'll want to install Logitech's software that comes with it. A note for MAC users, this thing is MAC compatible and Logitech does have functioning MAC drivers available online! It does take a few minutes to get used to this mouse as it is large, but once you have the hang of the buttons you're set. Also, for the gamers, the side buttons can be customized to perform some macro-like functions or set up in game to perform desired functions. This is a big plus as many non-gamer mice do not have the feature. The charge while in use feature simply rocks. No more worry about batteries or cradles, just hook up the USB cord and go. It also features a handy USB to AC adapter and a USB extention cable. Both are $15-20 each. It also feature the Logitech micro smart connect adapter. This is a great addition as it takes up very little room. The price could be better, but for the features and bonus adapters it is definately worth the extra money.

Super comfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes I put battery under pro and con. Indicator light for low battery usually comes on within a week of use. I use it every day at work from 8-12 hours. However the battery itself lasts about 2 more weeks of full time use and even Then I can then take two seconds And put the usb in. The mouse is probably the most comfortable one got ever used and perfect for all day use. Plus, response time is great and the basic customization of the extra buttons is great

Reall "GOOD" Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good mouse. I use it primarily for CAD and I use it a lot! On a full charge it lasts me approximately a week. And I do not have a problem with that. The version before this one had issues with batteries over time and to have it changed out you had to ruin the mouse. This is much more simple to take care of here. If you have battery problems with this mouse, go and get another one! Just match the type and get one that has a higher maH rating. All that said, I just wish the quality of this one matched the last version. But after two years of this mouse, I would buy it again. One sale.

Best mouse I've ever owned!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little skeptical at first of the price, but Its totally worth it. i love the zoom feature. I've owned two Microsoft mice that had it but the scroll wheel would ware out in about 6 months and need replaced. This is the first Logitech mouse I've tried and I'll never use another brand. you can use it on anything, no mouse pad needed.

overall great mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great ergonomic mouse I tried the display at a Best Buy store and knew I wanted it. I waited for the sale and snatched it up. I didn't even notice the rechargeable battery feature until I purchased it. To me that's just another bonus. I used to use the M570 track ball mouse but because of a hand injury last year I can't use that mouse for too long without pain in my thumb and palm. This mouse fits perfect and no hand pain.

Beautiful looks, somewhat deceptively comfortable.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been trying mouse after mouse and have yet to find a winner. Extended periods of time doing CAD work have me clicking on the computer for hours on end. My friend has the older MX 1100 and it is INCREDIBLY comfortable. I thought this one would be similarly comfortable. Unfortunately it is not. They narrowed it a bit, leaving much to be desired. I find myself fighting to find the perfect grip on the thing. After a few hours of use my hand started to cramp up. This may just be the size of my hand (i would consider it average for an adult male). I wish it were as comfortable as the older Logitech MX 1100. They should have maintained that form and added the extra design cues like the satin chrome trim and the black soft touch texture. Unfortunately I will be returning this one and picking up the MX 1100. I wish it were more comfortable, its such a beautiful looking mouse. Try it out for yourself. See how it feels. It may fit your hand better than it fit me. One thing's for sure, I don't mind spending the $80 for an MX 1100, and had this Performance MX been more comfortable, it would have been well worth the cash.

Excellent mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this mouse because I've gotten increasingly bothered with my older logitech optical mouse's accuracy and jumpiness. This one is a bit pricey but I believe it to be well worth the extra dollars. It is very accurate and smooth, the mouse wheel has a button that allows it to free scroll or have click resistance, which is very handy. I use the free scroll for general use and resistance when I am gaming. At first I was weiry about the design and comfortability, and although there was a demo of the mouse at the store and it felt nice, I was still unceratin if I would like it after time went on, and I have in fact grown to be very happy with the design, it is also pretty heavy and glides beautifully over my aluminum mouse pad. Overall I would most definetally recommend this to anyone who is serious about their PC usage.

Can't go wrong with Logitec
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a straight forward mouse with positive tracking and smooth responce suprising accuracy on uneven surface such as cloth when using away from desk area. The scrole feature is very handy. This is a fine unit for large hands. The battery has a long life between charges but for me, not very easy to plug in for re-charging. Not that Iam, but is not for left handed use. Going cordless, this IS the mouse for most users.

The baddest of mice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent mouse for the hardcore mouser. If you do precision work (video editing, photoshop, gaming, etc.) that requires a lot of mouse-on work, and a lot of very precision mousework, this is the mouse for you!! It's yet to fail to track or get stuck. This mouse is like like liquid gold on even the most anti-mouse surfaces. It tracked on smooth, clean glass from almost 20 feet away. This mouse is an upgrade for me from the VX Revolution and I LOVE this mouse!

Best mouse ever!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down, best mouse I've ever used. This is my second one... I used the first version, Matrix Revolution (I think), as well and loved it too. It didn't work as well on my metal keyboard tray though, so when this version came out, I upgraded. Seems to work well on the metal tray and have had no problems yet. The new charging methods are great and much more streamlined. The button redesigns are nice too. This mouse is worth it for the scrolling alone! I'm a huge fan and have already recommended that several friends/family get them!

Excellent Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm absolutely shocked that people are complaining about the scroll wheel. There's a button right behind the wheel that allows you to select free scroll and manual scroll. If you're going to write a review, please look around and see if there are resolutions to any problems you're having with a product. Anyway, I got an absolute kick out of the window toggle thumb button. I've seen a similar feature on Linux, but to see it on a Windows XP machine shocked me. Hopefully this mouse lasts me eight years like the MS mouse I received with my Alienware.
