Customers are impressed with the Performance Mouse MX's long battery life, comfortable ergonomics, and ease of use. Many appreciate its ability to work on various surfaces and its accurate tracking. While some find the price a bit high and the scroll wheel could be improved, the overall user experience is positive. The mouse's weight is also a point of contention for some users.

It's hard to believe that Logitech put so much time into the design of this high-end mouse only to fall way short with the battery. Horrible!!!!

So here's what I experienced...
I usually love Logitech products, from their speakers, mice to their keyboards but this... this is a major technological blunder. Supposedly this Darkfield was supposed to improve traction for use on a wider range of wood veneer desk tops, glass desk tops and regular mouse pads but I noticed a significant reduction in performance as compared to my previous Logitech Laser Mouse M-U0007. The battery life, from fully charged, would need to be recharged within 4-5 days, with use at about 4 hours a day, even when switching the mouse to off mode when not in use. The tracking was just horrible. I even downloaded the latest driver for the mouse but it happened to be the same version as what was provided on the disc.
I have a wood veneer desk top with a glossy finish. My previous performance laser mouse, M-U0007, was perfect, never an issue. This Darkfield mouse could not hold a candle to the M-U0007's performance. At a price hovering near $100, it's the worst decision I have ever made. It does however look great, feels unbelievable and is amazing-ly over priced. This year, I won't cut the cord. I'll remain with my previous mouse. Sorry Logitech. Thank you Best Buy for taking this back!

Not shielded well - interference from bluetooth keyboard.
Battery life is very short if used all day will need to recharge often.
Better off getting the MX Master from Logitech.
