It is super flat and thin but feels sturdy and strong. This mouse is also dead quiet, when you click it, you can barely hear it.

Great Compact Mouse

I paired it with a Dell XPS 13 and a MacBook Pro. You can have up to 3 devices paired with the mouse and switch between them using the button on the bottom of the mouse. Download and install the Logitech software from their website. It allows you to control the mouse.

I wanted an M510 but had to buy an M550 :-(

When one went bad recently, I went to Best Buy to find another but could not. So I settled on the M550L. This mouse is someone's idea of a joke. The feel is NOT acceptible; it's too sensitive. The scroll wheel doesn't have a good feel, either. I just do not like this mouse. To the trash can it'll go as soon as I can find a source for an M510. I guess it has something to do with its "silent click' sunction. Matters not to me ... I'm gonna throw it away.
