There is Logitech software you can download but its not completely necessary in my opinion. Plug in and you're ready to go. The microphone on this wont blow you away but its decent. If you are within five feet of an air vent/ac unit it will pick it up in the background.

All I did was plug it in, reboot once, and it worked righr away. The camera quality is very clear for both video and audio. Highly recommend.

The microphone is decent and usable, better to use an external mic. The lens cover was a nice add, however I prefer not to use it. It has smooth and jitter free videos as 30fps and adjusts for low lighting which is great. Overall, I love this camera, it works well, installed automatically, and serves all of its purposes beautifully.

I am a little disappointed that there isnt a better white balance on it - my desk is near a window, so the glare can be quite harsh. I wish i didn’t have to close the blinds on the window to eliminate the glare.

Does tend to be a bit on the red side of tinting when your lighting isn't great but that's an easy adjustment. Quality of mics is awesome. I stopped using my headset once I got this. Picture quality is awesome. 1080 is the sweet spot for video conferencing and the C930s nails it.

Great inexpensive webcam

The widescreen format provides a nice overall view of the room. The only downside to this camera is that you must switch the camera from standard mode to widescreen mode prior to starting your video conferencing software.
