HORRIBLE mic, great sound, great build.

I purchased this headset to "upgrade" from my 3-year-old PRO X wired headset. After reading and watching many reviews I thought I could forego the mic issues (youtube a mic test), as I wasn't the one having to listen to myself, right? Wrong. Once you turn on the sidetone for this mic you'll see how horrible it is. My old headset is way better even though it is three years old. This headset sounds muddy, buried, and overall something you'd expect from something in the early 2010s - not a 2023 headset. I'd encourage you to look up some of the audio tests on youtube - the proof is there. I thought I wouldn't care, but hearing myself in the sidetone was enough. All of my friends also said I sounded MUCH worse even before me telling them I got a new mic. The sound and build quality on the other hand is awesome. It's lightweight, comfortable, and if it's anything like my 2019 model, durable. If you want a complete headset (headphones with mic), this isn't for you. If you don't like sidetone and don't care about how you sound, maybe it's worth it for the build quality and sound drivers, but I'd recommend something cheaper for that usage. For $250, Logitech can and should do better. I'll be returning this and trying something else.

Great large mouse pad

Terrible mic on discord

I previously used the wired version which was my favorite headset by far after switching I quickly realized that nobody i spoke to on discord could understand me with everyone stating i sounded extremely distorted after some research i found that this was a very common issue with this particular headset and that there is no real solution without spending more money on a standalone microphone or a new headset altogether. If you plan to use discord BUY A DIFFERENT HEADSET
