I loved the original ones that came out and had mine for almost a year and decided to take out a warranty on them to get these new pairs figuring they would be an upgrade on the originals. The first thing I noticed was the sound quality out of the box even with EQs everything sounds almost like someone is speaking into a cup before it hits you. If you have an option between these and the previous models imo go with the previous out of the box they sound much better than these ones. Over all build quality is the same as the previous ones however which is nice to see that didn't go down at all.

Sound quality is nice but does not last

Bought the headset about a year ago. They do not last. I recommend another brand. 1 year later and the microphone no longer functions at all. Also, the connection to the PC has started to get interrupted often. I will have many periods in which I have no audio for a few seconds while the headphones disconnect and reconnect while the dongle is less than a foot away. Happens using both the dongle and internal PC bluetooth. Audio quality is nice but not worth the constant disconnecting and rate of failure of features.

    Wired, but not really.

Out of the box for less than 10 minutes already ran into issues. the USB dongle does not, despite having a 3.5MM jack on it, have passive passthrough for a wired connection, this means you are locked out of using GHUB for this device, and thus also locked out of using the blue voice tech. not to mention that even the G Pro x, the very first gen version, had a better microphone without blue voice than this one has... somehow? over all, it's a bad showing of some very bad business decisions being made over at Logitech HQ with NO wired offerings from logitech for this wave of tech, i see no way forward to continue using logitech products.... i use wired connections because they are LESS HASSLE than using a wireless solution. there is no "oh no, my dog knocked my headset over and it came unplugged and now i can't game cause they need to charge" or "Wow, this headset is amazing, i've owned it for a whole year! *gets 1/2 of the advertised battery life, due to battery decay*" risk involved with a wired headset. not to mention this coming off the back of the LOL edition g pro x, where the inline mic controller stared to fail days after opening the box... and this has been 2 very crappy purchases back to back.

After 3 weeks the right side lost 70% of its volumes. Now I have to jump through Logitech hoops to try and get it replaced.

    Uncomfortable

These sounded ok only after some tweaking. Out of box was disappointing compared to the Steelseries I had before. After wearing them for about 20-30 minutes the band started hurting my head. The headset is by far the heaviest I have used. Returned after about a week.

    Joke for the price

Does not sound good and mic still sounds awful like the last version. Much better options out there for less. Doesn't even have a full EQ in their software, it's artificially limited by Logitech. Moronic.
