The mouse is really targeting the "gamer" market and that on going hitch has come close to occurring in the middle of a fire fight in multiplayer way too many times. I have the previous wireless version and while I don't game on it I have no had any obvious moments of having freeze moments. I have two Logitech Pro wireless keyboards and those never freeze during multiplayer gaming. Maybe my mouse has a defect or the receiver does but it's annoying when it happens at a bad time.
