    Stellar Wireless Performance

The Pro X TKL is my first foray into the world of wireless keyboards. I've been on wireless mice since the Logitech mx1000 back in the mid 00s which was game changing, but never saw the utility in getting a wireless keyboard. Given the performance and feature set of the Pro X TKL, I've changed my tune a bit. Performance of this board is stellar. Latency is basically zero, so there's no discernible difference compared to wired that I can feel. Key registration feels instant; again no issues with latency or polling frequency, etc. Admittedly, the keys do feel a bit stiff for my tastes, likely owing to the gx browns on tap here. My daily driver for the past two years has been a Steelseries Apex Pro, which has completely different feeling optical keys. This isn't necessarily worse, just different. Given that I use my keyboards during my day job as a developer, the slightly increased key stroke weight helps with avoiding accidental key strokes. Features, as with nearly any gaming Logitech board you can buy, are abundant. Lighting options are nearly endless, with full customization abilities coming by way of the G Hub app. The GX brown switches are a great mixture of blue and red style switches; they sit in the middle in the they offer a bit of a tactile bump but retain mostly silent operation. Sitting above the keys are the awesome PBT dual shot key caps. Finally, one of my absolute favorite features of this keyboard is the included case. This keyboard is the ultimate on-the-go LAN party companion, and having the carrying case makes it that much easier to lug around. Overall, this feels like the king of wireless keyboards, given the feature set and performance. Key stiffness aside, the checks almost all the boxes for what a gaming keyboard should be. Highly recommended!

    TKL for the win

Going into using this new Logitech, I had an inherent bias against the TKL (Tenkeyless) because frankly I’ve always preferred keyboards with them (I know, I know, I'm way behind here). I use the 10-key pad a lot…but not in gaming. I didn’t really think about it, I just had 10 key keyboards, despite not using that function while gaming. So, although this was a new (and probably late) experience for me, it was a good one for sure. I don’t use the 10-key when playing, so it is actually kind of an extra extension of the keyboard that isn’t necessary. I found that the more compact size of the keyboard (despite not sacrificing on any other functions) was a great match up with gaming because it makes for less fatigue over long sessions. It seems like a small thing, but I found that it truly does make a difference. As far as the rest of the keyboard, it’s Logitech. In my view, no one beats them in gaming peripherals and the Pro X TKL is just another stellar example of that. And let’s keep in mind it’s wireless. That’s not always a plus in gaming but these days, wireless technology is pretty flawless and that was the case here. The keyboard synced up perfectly with zero delay. Between the TKL, lightspeed connection, and mechanical keys, you will not find a smoother experience in keyboards for gaming. Cannot recommend enough, freaking loving it.

    Very pleased with my purchase

I purchased this keyboard when I came across a sale and for what I paid, it is well worth the cost. I have turned down the lighting and I only have to charge the keyboard every couple of months (this will vary depending on your usage). The keys are precise and responsive. The keyboard has quite a bit of heft to it, so depending on your personal preferences, you may or may not like that. I had an incident where the legs of the keyboard broke, causing me to loose the ability to have it raised at an angle. I contacted Logitech support and for whatever reason, they don't have replacement legs. Long story short, the rep submitted a warranty claim for me, and I received a new keyboard. A+ service in that regard.

    Excellent Wireless Performance for Gamers

The G Pro X TKL is a sequel to its wired counterpart, the G Pro, but improves upon it with Lightspeed wireless, dedicated media keys, and support to pair with a Bluetooth device. Like all other G keyboards it can be controlled with the Logitech G Hub software. G Hub is in my opinion one of the better mice/keyboard software suites out there. You can assign macros, adjust the RGB lighting, and assign which keys to disable in Game Mode. However, these are the same functions I see for my older G915 keyboard so it doesn’t look like the Pro X TKL brings any new features with it to G Hub. Logitech designed this keyboard with competitive players in mind and its performance with the 2.4Ghz Lightspeed technology is outstanding. It is just as good as wired. I never had a delay or issue in my gaming with it in the short time I've had it so far. You won’t get this low of latency using Bluetooth. My version came with tactile (GX Brown) switches which I think are perfect for long gaming sessions. The keycaps are made from PBT plastic that is dual-shot, which is what you want in a high-end keyboard. While it’s perfect for gaming it doesn’t offer the best typing experience and it would be too loud for an office setting. Per key RGB is bright and I like that the shift functions on the numeral keys are also illuminated. Battery life has been excellent so far, no complaints and finally this is the first Logitech keyboard I have that supports USB-C for charging. So tired of keeping a microUSB cable lying around for my older keyboards and mice. Besides USB-C, another feature I have been wanting is the ability to pair two devices (keyboard and mice) to one dongle. I noticed I can now do it when I was setting up this keyboard with my G303 mouse. However, this looks to be a feature added in G Hub software as I can also now do it on my G915. Either way…I’m glad it’s here. It makes using an external keyboard and mouse a little easier with a laptop. The only downside I can think of is the keyboard does not support swapping the switches which can limit its flexibility especially at this price point but I never do this anyway. With wireless, it's much easier to swap an entire keyboard than take the time to replace switches. The G Pro X TKL also comes with a nice traveling case if you are going to be moving it around a lot. I typically travel with a 60% which is smaller than a TKL and a bit easier to pack but nice that it’s included. Pros: Excellent Build Quality Lightspeed Wireless Performance Long battery life Dual-Shot PBT Keycaps Logitech G Software Suite Includes Carrying Case Can Connect 2 Logitech Devices to Dongle USB-C Built-in USB Dongle Storage 2 Year Warranty Cons: Switches Not Swappable No Wristrest Included. Overall the Logitech Pro X TKL is a great choice for gamers who want a solid mechanical keyboard without wires for gaming.

    Very Impressive!

Let's start with my first thoughts on the Logitech ProX TKL Lightspeed - it's impressive! From the moment you open the box, to the zippered storage pouch, you can tell that Logitech wants you to be impressed - and it works. The pouch is a hard-shell, designed to protect the keyboard when not in use, or when travelling. As the note "TKL" implies, this keyboard does not have numeral keys making it a little smaller than a traditional keyboard. However, the keys themselves don't seem to be any smaller so I like it! I chose the "tactile" version because I still like the sound of the keys clicking. It's subtle though so you won't bother others around you. The keyboard has the option of connecting via the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable (which also charges the keyboard) or bluetooth. I found that both methods respond quickly/accurately when gaming and didn't notice any difference! Visually, the ProX offers Lightsync with 9 different lighting themes - my favorite is the color change which cycles through all of the colors and is very pleasant. The wireless battery lasts up to 50 hours and the keyboard can be used from as far away as 30 feet. It also includes media controls (FF, RR, Play/Pause, Mute) and a roller control for the volume. With 2 height adjustment feet on the backside of the keyboard, you can easily adjust it for just the right angle for work or play. The keyboard seems very well made and is strong/sturdy. It has enough weight to it so you feel like you're working with something substantial, as opposed to a cheap, plastic keyboard. I've tried/used several keyboards over the years and can truly say this one is the best by far!

Logitech - PRO X TKL LIGHTSPEED Wireless Keyboard

Logitech - PRO X TKL LIGHTSPEED Wireless Mechanical Keyboard is really awesome when using the G-Hub Logitech software. Software - very customizable and can be used with "templates" for Game mode you can lock the keyboard so only the game keys are active while playing. You can unlock to use as a regular keyboard. The colored lights on the keyboard are amazing with a few choice options. Easy to upgrade the software which in turns gives great enhancements to the keyboard. Hardware - Keys are fluid and very mechanical in their feel and touch. Very accurate, I am using the keyboard to type this review and feel very natural and precise. I have the ability to correct any typos with ease. The keyboard is of a quality build and very durable. Packaging and case - The packaging of this keyboard was very impressive. There is a great case that comes with the keyboard to hold the USB stick and USB C cable used to charge and provide less delays in Game play. Game play - Playing while using this keyboard is a great time. Being able to lock the keys you don't use on the keyboard while playing keeps from being distracted. Highly recommend this keyboard for anyone who wants to keep their lighting at a minimum while playing games or typing school papers, etc. Very nicely done Logitech!

Having tried many mechanical gaming keyboards in the past, I was very interested in trying this one due to the size and wireless capability. Overall I am very impressed with this keyboard. Setup was very easy on Windows 11. Connecting to Bluetooth was smooth and Windows recognized the device right away. I did not try the lightspeed connectivity but plan on doing so. The keyboard is very responsive while typing or gaming. I was wondering if the response would be affected by the wireless function but there was no lag whatsoever. Also, the battery life is incredibly long. I didn’t have to charge it for several days with moderate usage. The programmable RBG lightning is nice and similar to other keyboards on this space. Overall the keyboards looks very good. I have the black model but the white model looks great as well. Overall I was very impressed with this keyboard for under $200. Great features, battery life, responsiveness and overall look made it a great but. I would definitely recommend this product.
