Upgrade from G915, has all my wishlised features!

I have been waiting for a long time to upgrade my Logitech G915 TKL, and the PRO X TKL keyboard has all of the features from the G915 TKL that I loved plus pretty much all of the features I wishlisted for while that keyboard was my daily driver. These would mainly be: ABS Keycaps, USB-C charging (instead of micro-B), and larger travel distance. The PRO X TKL definitely delivers on all of those. Personally, I came from the clicky variant of the G915 TKL, but I find with the additional feedback from the ABS keycap material that the tactile variant of the switch on the PRO X TKL is a great fit for me. So if you were previously using either the Tactile or Clicky version of the G915 TKL, the Tactile version switch model of the PRO X TKL will likely feel at home for you.

Its the perfect size to where its small enough to nog take up a ton of space while also maintaining the keys you use on a day to day basis. For example before i had a razer huntsman mini and started playing baulders gate, the quick save key in that game is F5 but i didnt have a F5 key so i constantly had to go through the menu to save. This also has a ton of features such as the connection shortcuts physically on the keyboard and the sound up and sound down. Overall they is an amazing keyboard for all uses i would definitely recommend.

It actually does really well for gaming. I love the speed of the keyboard. Definitely fill the difference when I’m using a different board highly recommend.

Keys are a nice height and separated nicely. With the white keys, the lighting is not really required, but nice to have. Lighting shows through the keys - which I prefer over other PBT keyboards like Keychron. Key sound is louder than I would have expected with tactile keys, but not annoying to me. Battery life is great. If you have an older Logitech mouse, requires separate dongle for this keyboard. Comes with case, which I use as a dust protector when not in use.

Battery lasting me weeks and recharges in hours. It is solid but not too heavy. I was worried that I would miss the ten key pad but so far not missing it and fit great on my lap. I do wish the cap lock light up higher (above the print) as keys block it at angle.

Even though it’s wireless (can be wired as well) there is no delay. The mechanical switches feel and sound amazing. It has a good comfortable design and I have not had any issues with it. It’s the second one I’ve bought and for good reason! Nothing was wrong with the first one I just had to get my little brother one too and he loves it!

One down side i will say is the amount of customization on the lighting. It has very little options. The quality is solid and there was no issue using the keyboard. I just expected a little bit more for that price point. I give it a 3 star as its decent. It could be a 4 for those who like it.
