My HP laptop keys started malfunctioning and I was unable to fix it at home. While I am not a gamer, I am an old guy who hammers the keys and felt that a keyboard made for gamers might withstand my heavy handedness. It is brand new so I have limited use on it, but I like the tactile nature of the keys. The wrist pad is very nice, too. I have included a picture. I suppose I am not the demographic Logitech has in mind (although I am a longtime, several model, fan of their mice) Having the keyboard where it is makes the screen the right distance away for me, too. My daughter will be jealous.

It was a very easy decision since we have always used Logitec products, my son was delighted with the lighting and how soft the keys are to play as well as being very good user programmable.

Satisfying clicks. The Logitech app allows you to customize the key colors. There are five different zones, allowing each zone to be a different color, all the same, or a combination, or off completely. You can also map the keys to your preference. There is no noticeable latency, and the game mode button ensures you don't accidentally hit the Windows key.

Fingerprints noticable very easily on the keyboard but other than that it's amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Love it!

Good entry level keyboard with RGB lighting for a cool look

The prodigy is a pretty good keyboard with some nitpicks. I had a Logitech illuminated keyboard for years but it finally started dying. I got this to replace that. The keyboard is decently built. It feels sturdy enough. It is lightweight plastic. The keys are responsive and don't require a lot of force to press. The media keys are in a nice spot for right handed people. The nitpicks I have are that it requires software to adjust the LED colors but that isn't too big of a deal. The second is that the keys are pretty high like a mechanical keyboard and the keyboard itself is a bit raised so it ends up in an raised incline position which was uncomfortable for me but may not bother others. Finally, the palmiest area is pretty big and makes the keyboard significantly bigger than it needs to be.

Okay, so I can't review this keyboard for its intended use, but I rather use it for daily PC use. I was looking for one with lit keys (I am up till wee hours of the morning on the PC plus my eyes are getting old), that had easy to press buttons as the keyboard that came with my PC was a small laptop style keyboard. The keys were often hard to depress. I fought with the keyboard for a year before deciding that it would be this keyboard I wanted. I figured out out to set the colors (must go to the website to download the software) and all has been just fine. The wrist/palm support is fabulous - before I was needing to use bubble wrap under the old keyboard as typing hurt my wrists and a wrist support sat too high. The keys are super easy to depress - which really is huge for me as I was recently diagnosed with RA. The calculator portion is SO much better than that of that small laptop like keyboard I had. Finding the sound up and down buttons - super easy without having to look for them - they have their own feel. The only down side to the keyboard for me - is that I couldn't find a keyboard cover that fits it. I really wanted one in order to be able to keep dust/dirt and cat hair (because, you know, they have to come bust my butt on the keyboard tray for loves) out of the keys. Would I purchase this again? Absolutely. I got a good price - it was on sale at another online retailer and Best Buy price matched the sale price. Just an FYI - I've been using for a good 2 months without incident.

Saw this keyboard on sale for about $20 off regular price. Got good reviews so I bought one. For me it's great so far, easy to install, pretty much plug n play. Just have to download the software from Logitech website, but that was easy to install. I don't use this for gaming much, but it should be fine for that, good response. Keyboards for me are mostly about how they feel under my fingers. I had a laptop style keyboard and didn't like it at all, this one clicks when you type, but I like the fact that I can feel the keys going down (unlike a laptop style board), and the clicking is not loud, doesn't distract or annoy me. Overall have had no issues with it so far, the back lighting is great if you're in a dimly lit room at night. Recommend if you like this style keyboard.

Smooth key press with a nice click to confirm key press. Good range of motion for each key press. Good color setup. Price good. Great buy as long as you don’t mind wired.

Great keyboard as I would expect out of the Logitech G line of key boards. It works as advertised and the feedback is pretty good. It doesn't type as well as a mechanical keyboard, but then again, those are more expensive than this. It's great for the price. One thing that i wish would be changed is to have the ability to remove the palm rest. It makes it bigger than it has to be and personally I like keyboards without them. It also makes the foot print of the keyboard bigger so you need to take your space into account more because of it as well.

This keyboard is very soft and responsive. I use this for both playing games and office work. I love the RGB lights, I always used normal keyboard and this one make my life much easier with lights to work/play in dark areas. i brought this on sale and it is a steal with so many features.

I replaced my old G110 with this keyboard. Love the feel of the keys. The LED lighting is neat, but I do wish I could freeze/pause the rainbow effect because I really like it, but don't necessarily want the constant "movement" of colors. I couldn't find an option for that in the Logitech software, although you can pick any single color you want.

I primarily purchased this keyboard for use writing papers in the dark. I was pleasantly surprised to feel the quality of the keyboard. It isn’t overly clacky, but it still has a satisfying sound when keys are pressed. The keyboard has many options for colors and just has an overall great quality feel and look. Hoping to buy another one of these for my brother!

I was interested in a mechanical keyboard until I saw the price of them. I love to game, but didn't feel the need to break the bank. This was a great compromise. Pairs nicely with my Logitech mouse and their software gives you tons of customization options. Also this keyboard isn't so loud that it irritates any other friends in your voice-chat. It has just the right about of click/noise in my opinion.

Got this to replace the main dinky little keyboard that came with my computer. Definitely awesome and i love the RGB effect below the keys. Only downside is that you cant change individual key colors like some of the others but for the price i am not surprised. great for gaming and the keys arent overly clicky and annoying, its a nice little in between
