Works great with Microsoft power point. Allows you to start and go forward and backwards through the presentation. It is not a mouse do do not expect mouse functions with this device

As a college professor I needed something that would allow me to move about the classroom while using power point lectures. I can now walk through the classroom and advance or retrace the slides. Also works for Prezi. Also advances word documents with multiple pages. Just plug in the usb port, which tucks into the top of the hand held device, and it works as advertised. The red laser light is adequate but not very bright. Adequate. But the ease of on/off/blackout of the computer during power point is the real strength of this device.

This pointer is a workhorse for the size and price. Great for presentations.

I need it for my presentations in class. It makes the start of class so easy. I do not have to stop the class and manually go to the computer and turn to the next slide. It makes class smoother and faster. The students do not get off task. It is a win-win for everyone.

Perfect for presentations! Loved the size and ease of use

I almost returned this after I opened the package because I couldn't find the piece that went into my USB port. It is in the remote control. You just pull it out. After I started using it, I have found that it is absolutely great. I never have any problems with it advancing my PowerPoint and I use this every week. My predecessor to the meeting I chair used the same model and used it for the last year. His recommendation was why I bought it at Best Buy.
