Too clicky
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little too click and loud but the color options and controls are good.

Good keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is hard for me to truly review this keyboard as I have never owned or used a gaming keyboard. Still trying to figure out the set up for the back lightning, plan on taking some time this weekend to sit down and try to set it up properly. Key board responds well to typing commands and movement commands.

Excellent keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent keyboard but with one big flaw. Key caps are too sharp and too small. Beautiful led lightning! Probably the best available on the market. But I did get use to small key and sharp edges :(

Romer G
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Romer G switches take some getting used to. I was using a generic MX Brown keyboard and those keys feel more natural and easier to type on. On the G810 I was noticeably making more typos.

Decent keyboard but poor build quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this keyboard for 3 years at this point. The mechanical keys are nice, the colors are cool. I dislike the build quality - the keyboard fell from my desk once onto a wood floor (read.. not overly hard surface), and suddenly certain keys and functions don't work correctly. I've owned cheaper keyboards that have taken way more abuse and are still 100% functioning. This keyboard is very cheaply made and beware of its fragility.

not that great
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Standard RGB keyboard of less than average build quality. Expect a few years of use at most.

Nice gaming keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice keyboard, however, I had to exchange it on the first day. I noticed some of the lighting was not illuminating.

Keys stoped working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is Feb, 2019 and I bought this in March, 2017. Not even 2 whole years and the keys aren't working properly. Some keys don't register unless I press it hard and some register twice. I've kept it clean with no food or water around it. Contacted Logitech Support to see what they say. What a waste of $120.

Decent but very flawed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Key action is good, Excellent anti-Ghosting. Needs a wrist rest due to the height at the Leading edge. Keys are too close to each other as such they actually had to be separated a few times Left Control Key kept coming off. Easy to pop back on but still... Final Blow was the "A" Key Cap breaking off. Never had that happen before and I have had a computer since 1983. Tossed it on the spare parts shelf.

Great for everything
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G810 is a great keyboard for any application. Very fast and easy to type on. Very responsive and fast, so it also great for gaming. The keyboard is built like a brick wall, no creaking or anything when trying to bend it (to test build quality), it doesn't even bend AT ALL. Excellent build quality. Lighting is amazing, every color with lots of effects and options. I have mine synced with my G900 mouse which looks really nice. Although, pure white looks a little pinkish. That's only thing. The volume wheel is a great touch, controls everything on the computer from Youtube to Spotify to Discord, I just max out my headphone on-ear volume then use the volume wheel on this keyboard to control everything at once. I've seen some reviews saying the space bar is low quality, which are all wrong. They must've got unlucky and gotten a lemon. Mine is perfectly fine. Very good braided wire that literally can't tangle. Won't fray. Perfect length for my setup. Logitech software program is very simple to use. Just download it then plug in the keyboard and it pops up on the program. You control and set all lighting settings from there. This is a really good keyboard that is cheap for it's kind. Can be used for typing, gaming, web-browsing, and whatever else very well and comfortably.

No ctrl
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The feft control key is constantly breaking. Initially thought it was a fluke, but it ended up happening on 4 different boards. Its a total shame too because I loved the rest of it and it was a good price.

Close to the Cherry MX Brown
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cross-shopped this against the Corsair K70, with the Cherry MX Brown switches, so here are my thoughts for those that can't try both in a store: The Romer-G switches are (to me when typing side-by-side): - Quieter (slightly to moderately) - Shorter strokes (just slightly) - Not quite as smooth throughout the key travel Also, the K70 has a nice wrist wrest; the G810 does not; the K70 has bios settings and the usb pass-thru; the G810 does not - hence the K70 price premium... I went with this one, because it's quieter and has no light bleed under the keys (open air on the K70; G810 is enclosed). The slightly better Cherry MX Brown key feel wasn't enough to offset the aesthetics of the K70 for me. If you prefer the look/style of the K70, then it's the better option. I didn't really care about the bios and pass-thru, either, since this won't be leaving my desk. I'd rather keep the $40 difference and spend it on a mouse. For those that are leaning toward this one: it's heavy and the rubber feet are very resistant to accidental movement on my desk; the usb cable is heavy and braided; the Logitech lighting software seems to work fine (I'm running windows 10) and makes it very easy to set-up custom lighting effects; the volume knob is about the same as the Corsair.

Great for older geeks who don't need the "sizzle"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Actually the "top of the line" G910 gaming keyboard was marked down to a lower price when I got this, but too much "gamer" stuff on the G910 and not for an 'older professional' who wants to appear more mature than his 13-year-old gaming son. IMO the G910 wasn't selling as well as hoped, and the G810 is (to me) the superior model in design, appearance, and performance. This G810 looks professional on the desk, has OUTSTANDING color display (note that the 'special' keys on the number keys are also illuminated -- missing on many of the other illuminated keyboards - aren't these ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) the ones you can never remember when typing in the dark?), no "bottom of the keys" light spillover that takes away from the illumination focus, superior engineering on the Romer-G switches (Check out the tour of the Romer-G factory in Japan on YouTube), and feels like a BRICK in the hand (a GOOD BRICK) with heavy-duty construction. The 3-way adjustable tilt and huge rubber feet on the bottom will keep this from sliding around on any desk, including glass-tops. The only thing that makes this look like a "gamer rig" is the FABULOUS and CRISP color displays... which are easy to see even with the lights on in the room > fully adjustable to get it just the way you want at home or at work. I may be an old-timer, but I don't mind showing off a little bit and this keyboard is an EYE-CATCHER when the lights start doing the 'wave' across the keyboard! I read all the reviews and fiddled with the keyboards on display and there seem to be "Logitech Nay-Sayers" who can't bear the idea of using anything other than the older design "cherry" keys. I have gone from manual touch-typing > to I B M Selectric > to I B M 'clicky' keyboard (still one of my favorites) > to membranes > to whatever-cheapo-keyboard Dell includes in their educational computers > to a Saitek PK17U Cyborg > to this keyboard. This one is the best by FAR! Re: keys... you get a little 'click' so the sound and some tactile/touch reinforcement for keyboarding (typing) is there, but not too loud and for me just enough to let me know I hit the key. Yes it feels different from the cheapo Dell keyboard i just unplugged and replaced, but every keyboard is different and this one feels like driving a luxury car! Speaking of my son, he is now looking over at my new keyboard and looking at his illuminated keyboard and I think I know what he will be asking for come Christmas. Fortunately, the box still had the promotion of free download and activation code for "The Division" so the kid has something to keep him busy until Santa Claus comes. If you are an old crab like me, but like a little 'sizzle' when using your computer and want to treat yourself to a smooth-as-silk keyboard... this is the one I would recommend. Leave the "whoopee" keyboards to the kids. PS - you can hit a quick button on the keyboard and turn off the light display if you want to turn off the light show for a while.
