Many users also appreciate the Logitech software, affordable price, and Romer-G switches. While some customers wish it came with a wrist rest, the overall feedback is positive.

Go and do yourself a big favor and get this keyboard. The feel is solid yet awesomely comfortable. Gaming has a flow that is hard to put into words on this keyboard. One thing is certain, and that's I'm in love.

Romer-G keys are excellent. Had the keyboard for a year at time of review, zero issues. Used for FPS, MMORPG, and general use, excels at all of them. Syncs with other Logitech gaming devices (g502 and g633 for me).

Fully featured with exactly the right # of keys

This keyboard is as fully featured as the other Logitech mechanical keyboards. Like all Logitech gaming equipment, Logitech's software suite allows editing the functionality of the device. For this board that involves the F1 - F8 key rebinds and a series of lighting features Key Binds - G Keys: It does NOT have dedicated G keys for key bindings but allows rebinding of the Function keys F1 - F8 on a per profile (eg: per game) basis. Lights - ALL the lights!: The lighting features allow preset animation and light 'flow' as well as reactive lights where lights change upon your key presses. You can also choose colors for certain kinds of sections of keys such as modifier keys or ASDW all the way down to simply giving each key whatever color you want. Game Reactive Lighting: Logitech and a few other companies have started getting data from certain games and allowing the keyboard lighting to react to events in the game. The first big game I know of for this keyboard is The Division. When the game starts up the keyboard lighting sets to sync with the game (this is a feature you can disable in the game, at the very least). The buttons tied to your abilities (eg: Q, E) change color when they are cooling down and when they are available. I think the board flashes red when your health is low. Personally it's an interesting feature but I'm not looking at my keyboard while I'm playing so I don't really notice it. If you're a big keyboard lighting fan, though, it's an awesome addition. Key feel: For mechanical keyboards, I've primarily used MX-Blues, MX-Clears, MX-Whites, and MX-Browns. The keys here feel much lighter than I'm used to. The Romer key switch is stated to have a 45 gram actuation force putting it on par with MX-Browns and MX-Reds. They state they are a tactile switch like an MX-Brown but I don't really notice it. Unless you have a light touch and are sensitive to the actual point, expect to bottom these out like an MX-Red instead. Overall it's a good board supported by good software. I'd suggest it for anyone looking at a G910 but not wanting the giant foot print along the bottom or just a few less keys to deal with.

    Better than Razer

As an avid gamer, I had a cheap logitech kb last me for 2 years. There was a lot of hype around Razer products so I decided to give them a try. I had 2 of 3 razer kbs and 1 of 2 razer mice go bad in a period of a few months. Back to Logitech and this kb OWNS. Romer-G switches are exceptionally better than the Cherrys, both by feel and in lighting.

Came from a minimal non-mechanical keyboard and this made for a pretty good transition. The software and typing experience are both better than my previous keyboard's.

    Perfect Keyboard; No issues

Perfect gaming keyboard. Get a 3rd party wrist rest and you're set for long hours of gaming. No annoying macro keys on the side. Volume scroll wheel and media keys on the top right. Great keyboard layout for FPS/RTS, with F1-F12 keys easily accessible. Nice sound and feel to the Romer-G switches. Not too loud but tactile enough for comfort. Stepped caps lock key is always a plus. Doesn't have all extra unnecessary bells and whistles that manufacturers try to sell you for an additional $100. Just a solid keyboard and looks cool with the colors. No razer chroma effect although you could get Aurora and mimic the razer chroma effect, but i opted not to cause it lags my computer a bit. Unnecessary anyway. Overall, great keyboard.

    Truly Wonderful keyboard

I wanted a mechanical keyboard to play games and for my son to play on. I am in my mid 40s and don't really care for keyboards with all sorts of doo dads and decorative flair. I wanted a distinguished minimalist keyboard that functioned well and was great for typing too. This one is magnificent. It is very elegant yet is very precise for games. I have a Logitech G403 mouse too and I like the way you can sink the colors between the two. I tried a couple keyboards from corsair and while they were functional, I just didn't like them. I love Logitech!

    Nice keyboard keys, annoying backlight

    Posted .

When you drive at night and scan your eyes from side to side, are you bothered by the strobing (flashing) of the LED taillights on the cars ahead of you? Do you see a line of red dots, not a taillight that is on continuously? If you answered "yes" to these questions this keyboard is probably not for you. I wanted to like this keyboard. I used it for two weeks. The keys themselves are very good, I like them. The key backlighting, though, drove me crazy. The lights are multiplexed (or something) so the light for each key is not on 100% of the time. It is on for a short time and then off for a time. When my eyes scanned from one side of the keyboard to the other I would see each key multiple times, each time in a different position, overlapping the images of other keys -- alphabet soup. I found this very annoying to the point that the backlighting was a negative, not a positive. Since I got the keyboard because I wanted keys that were always backlit, well, I returned it. From my experience not everyone has this problem with strobing lights. If you are not bothered by the LED taillights at night this keyboard would probably be fine for you.

I was looking for an RGB LED keyboard that would also work for non-gaming applications, without the extra macro buttons, and this was great! Perfect size and matches my gaming mouse from Logitech! No light bleed like other keyboards, only buttons are lit!

Never had a mech keyboard and was worried it might be too clicky. Well the sound this keyboard makes is just perfect and feels great too. Glad I moved away from all the crazy keyboard layouts and moved into this mature setup.

The RGB settings don't always hold, the volume roller doesn't always function properly, and now some of the keys are repeating. I've bought many Logitech keyboards to replace many Logitech keyboards. I think this is going to be my last.

    Great mouse, bad software

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The good: The mouse is awesome. Great response time. Fits my hand really nice. Easy to reach buttons. Easy pick up. There is not much that I do not like about the physical mouse. The Bad: I wish there was a third button for the thumb.. The middle scroll wheel button is a bit harder to push than I'd like. The software is bad... Software: To start, you cannot use repeating macros or buttons if you are saving your profile to the mouse instead of your computer. Make sure you know which one you are saving to... The layout is a mess. It's doable but it's a mess. I have both Logitech hardware and Razer. Razer is sooooo much better on the software side. Especially when it comes to Custom RGB lighting but that is mainly a keyboard thing. I hate the Logitech software plain and simple. The software also is not going to automatically adjust for a 4k monitor.. You have to do a fix within windows so that you can actually read it. Overall: It's a good product. If you are going to get a RGB keyboard to go with your mouse, stay away from Logitech.

I paired this purchase with the logitech g502 mouse. Was a little skeptical at first but very please with the keyboard and mouse. Easy to install and customize after downloading the software from logitech. Try it out at the store's demo section for look/feel.

We bought this for a dark office where we couldn't see the writing on the keyboard. The 1st one had a problem with the space bar so we exchanged it and this one has been working great. Lots of choices in how it lights up.

I bought this product anticipating that I would be able to use its designated software to customize it but I can't. I can't save any settings or changes that i make to it whether that's color or bindings. Iv'e tried uninstalling it, updating driver's and what not. Other than that it's not too loud and the colors are nice. Be nicer if there software actually worked for mine.
