Great connectivity, very comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow... finally. I remember when wireless mice came out and you always had to use a plug in dongle and response was slow and they had low DPI on top of that. The newer gen wireless mice are more adaptable. Yes, many still have the wireless dongle but response and DPI has improved. Bluetooth connectivity kicks it up a notch. With the new Logitech M650 you get both Bluetooth and also 2.4hz with an included USB wireless dongle for any devices that don't currently have Bluetooth capability. By far Bluetooth is the best way to connect if your computer is capable. With my Bluetooth enabled on my Windows laptop I turned on the M650 and my computer asked me if I wanted to connect the mouse… automatically… I didn’t have to go into settings and scan for device. This is the first Bluetooth device that I’ve owned that was recognized simply by turning it on. Bravo Logitech!!! While I haven’t tried it yet connectivity to different operating systems is supported and easy to connect. I love the quiet switches so clicking isn’t as pronounced as traditional mice. Much less annoying! Scrolling is a breeze as it seems to be proportional controlled between one line to more lines. It has the standard regiment of buttons: left, right, middle scroll and a couple of side buttons which can be programmed with the optional downloadable software. Logitech says an AA battery can last up to 2 years… very stingy on power. I have the M650 L which would be a great choice if you have a catcher’s mit for a hand like I do. The larger size has a great feel in my hand. The grip is very comfortable and I don’t have to crunch up my hand to access all of the buttons. It’s light weight so it zips quickly across my mouse pad. The M650 L is now my go to mouse for work. It’s perfect for what I need and at the end of the day I can grab my laptop off it’s dock, toss it in my backpack and toss the mouse in along with it. Highly recommended for most use.

Versatile, Affordable, Perfect...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech have created a mouse that's perfect for all forms of work. M650 is a mouse that I'm actually using when I'm on the go or at work. For a mouse of this price point I'm generally impressed but all of the features they can fit in here while still beating other each products out there. The M650 is a mouse that's egomaniacally designed for larger hands while not being too flashy or bombarding you with useless things. This has accommodate me on all types of workflow throughout the day. There are tons of mini mouse out there for travel but this one fits my large hands just right so issues there. long hours and the M650 still provided a level of comfortability not many out there can do. The mouse also make very silent clicks with each use so you won't truly disturb those around you. For vertical monitors this thing is a dream as you have a "smart" scroll wheel on the mouse that helps freely control the scroll of webpages or other productivity. There are two buttons on the side of the M650 that you can customize for other uses. want them to Play/Pause music or Copy/Paste it can be done here. The Logitech.com/OptionsPlus is where you would go to download the app for windows or mac. Logitech's Signature M650 also can use Bluetooth or use a USB dongle so compatibility shouldn't be a problem. The best feature and the most defining thing for me here is that this mouse can last 2 years on two AA batteries which is AMAZING. 24 months of not charging is a god send. if the device actually last that long this will surely be a good product. I've been using it for DAYS and it doesn't have no signs of slowing down. I guess you can already tell I highly recommend this mouse to everyone. It it works, does the job its suppose to do, fast, silent and at a cheap price? this is the all around mouse I would gravitate to for all things outside of gaming. truly a consumer friendly product.

Don't Be Deceived By The Description
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not let the description deceive you into thinking this is a larger than normal mouse for those of us with monster hands. It is a normal sized desktop mouse. There is nothing wrong with that, but don't think this is a special build for big hands. It is larger than the M535 which I also like very much even though it is a small mouse. Both mice, the M535 and M650L, are great to throw in a book bag and take with you. The M650L is a normal sized mouse with both the dongle and Bluetooth support. They both work very well with excellent range. There is a slot inside the battery cover for the dongle if not being used, I always appreciate this little feature because these little dongles are lost so easily when there is not a storage compartment in the device. The mouse has a great feel and the buttons are in the perfect position, Logitech is usually very good with side button placement and they hit the sweet spot again. I can not attest to battery life but marketing says 2 years on one AA battery. No reason to doubt that considering Logitech's track record. The scrolling is smooth and accurate. Glide of the mouse is excellent. It seems to work on most none clear surfaces. So far I have used BT with Windows (10 and 11), Chromebook (Chrome OS) and Android. All have been spot on and perfect. With the dongle I have used on Chrome OS and Windows 11. Absolutely no issues anywhere. To switch between BT and dongle just hit the pair button while the dongle is powered. This is a solid full sized mouse that feels good in hand but is not oversized. A large hand claw grip may cause some cramping in the palm. Definitely recommended, this is yet another solid design from Logitech.

great mouse, but not really for large hands
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll start off by saying that the Logitech M650L wireless mouse is a very nice mouse. I have used many dozens of mice, wireless and wired, over the decades going all the way back to the original Microsoft serial “ball” mouse. The M650L is comfortable to hold and use with a pleasant, quieter “click” feel than the more typical mouse, one of its advertised features. The mouse is pretty much symmetrical, making it suitable for lefties as well as righties. There are two programmable buttons on the left side that are meant to be pressed by your thumb that are not matched on the right side, so the mouse would take a little getting used to by a left-handed person who would need to push those two buttons most likely with the pinky finger. Another advertised feature of this mouse is that it is for “large-sized hands,” and it says this right on the package. But I have compared this mouse to the mouse I had been using, a wired mouse from a different manufacturer, and to another wireless mouse, a Logitech M705, which I keep in my laptop carry case for use when I’m using that computer. Neither of these mice are advertised as being for large hands, and yet both are larger than the M650L. In particular, the M705 is more comfortable because it is wider by about a quarter of an inch than my wired mouse or the M650L. It’s width that matters, not so much height or length, if a mouse is going to be comfortable to hold by a large-handed person. As far as other dimensions, my wired mouse is 1/4-inch longer and 1/8-inch taller than the M650L, so by no means would I consider this a mouse specifically designed for large hands. It is a conventionally-sized, comfortable-to-hold mouse. A feature of the M650L that I really like and that I’ve not encountered in a wireless mouse before now is that it can connect via bluetooth. All wireless mice I’ve used before now, including the M705, use a USB dongle to communicate with the computer. The bluetooth is so convenient that I had merely to insert the battery in the new M650L and, automatically, and without me doing anything, my desktop computer, which has bluetooth capability, found and connected to the mouse. I was using the mouse within seconds of opening the package. Other features of this mouse include, like many mice today, programmable buttons that you can control by downloading and installing software from the manufacturer’s website. I did this with no problems, although I must admit that I’m not traditionally a mouse-button programmer and am content to use mice the way the have most traditionally been used, with left-click and right-click buttons and a scroll wheel. As I said at the outset, this is a very nice mouse, and I can see it serving me well for a long time to come.

The usual great mouse from Logitech
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse has been around almost as long as the personal computer and lots of companies make them. But in my experience, the best ones always come from Logitech and this Signature M650L is but the latest example of why they are No. 1 It gets pretty much everything right, from the comfortable design that fits naturally in the hand (there are large and small versions available) to the placement and functionality of the buttons to the smooth and responsive scroll wheel. Add in a 24 month battery; a choice of bluetooth or 2.4ghz USB connectivity and customizable buttons and scroll wheel and you pretty much have everything you could want in a mouse. Sure, it's a little on the pricey side for a mouse. But sometimes it makes sense to pay a little more for something you use a lot almost every day. You simply want it to work with as little drama as possible. And the M650L does that without breaking a sweat. Little things can make a big difference in terms of differentiating a good mouse from a bad one. The bad ones tend to be too light, the buttons too twitchy and the longevity limited. Very annoying to use. Decades of experience has helped Logitech avoid all those problems and just build a mouse that works the way you expect it to work. Another big plus for those already using another Logitech mouse: When you pull that that connects the battery in this mouse, your existing USB receiver immediately sees this new mouse and offers to connect it....even if there already is another mouse connected. Then you can turn that old one off and start using the new one. It could not be easier. If you dont have a Logitech mouse, this one comes with a USB transceiver, or you can opt to connect via bluetooth, if your computer supports the Bluetooth low energy protocol. This model comes with a scroll wheel and two side buttons (a left hand model places them on the right side instead of the left). By default, the side buttons do back and forward while using a browser. The scroll wheel jumps one line at a time or can be pushed once to enable scrolling by moving the mouse, instead of using the scroll wheel. But you can customize all of them to do something different. (You must upgrade to the new Options + software to do this) To be honest, I dont rarely use any of those features. Just point and click works best for me. I need no fancy functions. My only gripe concerns Logitech's software, which is ever evolving and ever changing and sometimes does not work with devices that came earlier, or will come later.

Greatg for larger hands
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The M650 L is a larger version of the M650. There is also a left-handed version. The L is for size, not handedness. It is one centimeter, just short of ½” longer than the regular M650. It has a scroll wheel/middle click, left and right click, as well as two thumb buttons. The top is smooth, and the sides are courser allowing for a good grip on the mouse. The scroll wheel moves freely. It feels good in since it's not compact, your figures and lay on the end of the mouse comfortably. It runs on one AA battery. It can be connected by Bluetooth to one computer or connect by the included Bolt receiver. Some things to note on the mouse and connections. It only connects with Bolt, not the unifying receivers. For software, if desired, it requires the newer Logi Options+. Depending on other Logitech devices you have, they may not be able to link to the new Bolt receiver, you'll need to use Bluetooth or another USB port to connect to the same computer. The mouse has a slot in the battery compartment to hold the receiver. The Logi Options+ lets you customize the mouse. You can change what the buttons do and the mouse speed. It goes up to 4000DPI. The software is intuitive and easy to setup and use. Responsiveness is like a wired mouse. Overall, the mouse is great, especially for larger hands. You can lay your fingers out and on the buttons. It’s responsive and easy to setup.

Love how quiet it is!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am giving this mouse a five star rating primarily for 1 reason, it’s quiet. That’s what I wanted and that’s what I got. You can still hear a very soft click when you press one of the buttons, but it is very quiet. Logitech claims there is 90% less click noise than that of a typical mouse and that sounds about right. How about the rest of the features? All in all this is a pretty solid basic wireless mouse. Connecting was incredibly easy. I attached the USB receiver to my PC and the mouse started working instantly. The feel and grip on the mouse are fine. The scrolling wheel might be just a touch on the sensitive side (or at least more sensitive than my last mouse), but I got used to it pretty quickly. The claim that really intrigues me is that single AA batteries will last 2 years. It will be a while before I know whether or not that claim is true, but either way I appreciate that it included the battery. All in all I am very happy with this mouse. I wanted something that works well, is wireless and is very quiet. I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone looking for the same thing.

good mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this mouse to test from logitech. The 650l is the larger size right handed mouse in this series. There is a standard 650 and a left hand version. At this price, it has both a usb receiver dongle and Bluetooth, and I feel that is a good value at this price, and makes this versatile. I will be using this on a tablet computer that only has one USB port, so I can keep that open for my portable hard drive, but if I want I've used this with both windows 11 and 10, connects easily. On the thumb side there are programmable buttons that you can set up using the options plus available on their site. I set the buttons up for copy and paste. I'm an average size guy and this mouse feels not a whole lot different size wise than standard mouse, but larger than many other wireless ones I have (like my logitech m150 I've had forever). It does have silent click feature that are noticeably quieter buttons than the one I'm replacing. I got a black color, but I see blue and red are available. I definitely would reccomend this mouse for daily use.

The perfect companion!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using this mouse exclusively now for about a week and it’s my new favorite! I’ve used so many different mice over the years and this is by far the most comfortable AND functional of them all. It connected instantly to my new Dell laptop via Bluetooth, I can’t use the USB option as it’s a USB-A, and my laptop only has USB-C ports. No big deal, as I’d rather not use it anyway. The Bluetooth has been flawless. I downloaded the software for the mouse and changed some of the shortcuts for the side buttons to be copy/paste as I use those features often. It works great! I really like the fact that I can change the shortcuts. This mouse is about as silent as you can get. Like, really really silent. No clicks, nothing. The buttons seem to be pressed easily, I have been calling them “soft”. Super easy to click. As far as the size, don’t let the name “large” fool you. It’s a regular size mouse. Perfect for me.

A Great Mouse For Any Office
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech Signature M650L is a simple, but elegant mouse that would be a welcome addition to any desktop. Upon first glance, it doesn’t appear to be anything special. However, it feels terrific and performs well once out of the package. It connected quickly via Bluetooth and even notified my PC that it was ready. Of course, the USB receiver connects easily as well. Let’s start with the appearance and comfort of the M650L. The graphite coloring is a nice change from your standard black and the contrast in the color between top and sides. The button placements as well as the side contours really add to the design. Those same features add to the comfort as well. The size of the Logitech Signature M650L is just right for my hands and adding in these other pieces make it a great fit for long use. As far as the performance of the Logitech Signature M650L goes, I was pleasantly surprised by the silence that it brings. The buttons and scroll are super quiet, but also perform well. The ability to scroll quickly or precisely is a nice feature. With the addition of the programming for the other buttons, this mouse can hold its own when it comes to productivity and efficiency. The one thing that would improve the M650L is a DPI button. It’s a decent speed, but it would be nice to toggle it to be a tad faster. All in all, the Logitech Signature M650L is a good mouse for general computing and office work. With its design, one will definitely not have any issues with it. The advertised 20-24 month will be great too. That means comfort, function, and not having to worry about a battery for around 2 years. That’s a solid package.

Simple and Solid Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got the Logitech Signature M650 for my office desktop, and am pleasantly surprised. The mouse is available in several sizes and also includes a version for those who are left-handed. The large version I'm using is a little heavy -- which I like, and has nice contour and rubber grips, giving it a substantial, solid feel. The features are basic, but not necessarily sparse. There are two programmable buttons and the mouse can be connected to two devices via a Bluetooth connection and a USB dongle. There is a button on the bottom of the mouse to switch between the two connections, but it's somewhat clunky and difficult to tell what the blinking light indicates. The M650 also has SilentTouch buttons. Logitech claims they reduce click noise by 90% compared to their M185 mouse. This is to reduce background noise during teleconferencing with Zoom, etc. I can't even hear sound made when clicking the mouse button, so I would tend to believe them. This makes sense as it's meant for the productivity side of computing rather than the gaming side. Logitech has also outfitted the mouse with its SmartWheel, which automatically switches between free and notched scrolling depending on how quickly you roll it, which comes in handy when scrolling long pages.. Overall it's a very solid mouse that is definitely a step up from a basic mouse -- particularly the feel, and is offered at a reasonable price point.

This is it, boys and girls
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech finally nailed it with this new model. Silent clicks (really silent; Logitech is the best at it), two size options with improved ergonomics, a few color options, and software to customize buttons. The new scroll wheel has a great functional, high quality feel to it. I think the only feature lacking is a function to switch between two devices, like their M590 silent mouse, but eh I need to stick to one device more often anyway. The M590 is great, but only comes in a compact travel size, which can cramp my hand after awhile. If mad clicking at home or in the office with other co-workers drives you insane like it does for me, this is the perfect silent mouse.

Another excellent office mouse from Logitech
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used Logitech mice for office-use exclusively for at least 10 years now, including MX Masters. They always seem to hold up the best, have the best battery life, and best comfort for me. This new M650 L model is no exception. Fit and finish are excellent for a budge oriented mouse. All of the button clicks are well dampened, and not loud or clicky. The scroll wheel is smooth, and also has a solid click feel. The exterior is a grippy texture that does not feel like the old rubberized finishes that will peel off over time. I am using this mouse as my "on the go" mouse in my laptop bag, and so far it has performed flawlessly.

Solid mouse that's also very quiet
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spend every day, all day using Logitech products. I use a Logitech keyboard at home and work, and even have multiple keyboards and mice at home. I use a Logitech keyboard and mouse with my iPad. I guess you could say that I’m sold on Logitech products. I recently bought an inexpensive Logitech mouse at Sam’s Club for $15, and I use that at work. The new M650 series is supposed to provide a middle ground between mice like the one I just bought, and my MX Master 3 that I use most of the time at home. The M650 comes in two sizes, and I got the large. It’s closer in size to the MX Master that I love, so I didn’t want to get too much smaller that that one. I’m 6 feet tall and I think my hands are average size, and the M650 L fits my hand just fine. I mention that to help you consider what size to get for yourself. There is also a left-handed model, but I did not need that one. The mouse is well built and feels good in the hand. It’s mostly plastic, with rubber sides where you grip it. It feels really comfortable to use. It has the traditional 2 buttons on top, along with a scroll wheel and 2 buttons under your thumb. By default, these page forward and back, but you can program them to a number of different actions if you prefer. One neat thing they added for this model is the ability to scroll left and right by holding down either the forward or back button and scrolling with the scroll wheel. This is great, because it provides the side-to-side scrolling that I have on the MX Master, without having to pay the higher price. The M650 comes with the new Logi Bolt dongle, which is supposed to be the next generation of the unifying receiver that Logitech has used for years. The M650 can connect to your computer using either the Logi Bolt receiver or Bluetooth. For the other mice and keyboards I have, I have preferred using the unifying receiver over Bluetooth connections, due to the delay it often takes to reconnect the Bluetooth signal when you haven’t moved the mouse in a while. So, when I got the Logi Bolt, I assumed I could move to it and use it just like I have used the unifying receiver. Getting the Logi Bolt working requires you to download and install Logi Options+, as the M650 cannot be added to the older unifying receiver using the original Logi Options program. No problem, I’ll install the additional program, and maybe I won’t need the old one anymore. Once I did that, I restarted the process to add the mouse, only now I was told that I needed to download an additional installation program just for adding devices. This part of the process is not yet integrated with Logi Options+ and is still considered a beta program. Once all that was done, I was able to add the mouse and I was good to go. Next, I wanted to add my MX Keys keyboard, as my plan was to shift to the new Logi Bolt receiver and stop using the older receiver. Unfortunately, I was not able to get Logi Options+ to find my keyboard, despite the fact that I had put it into pairing mode. So, I gave up and added the mouse via Bluetooth, leaving the keyboard on the unifying receiver. It worked fine, but that goes against my plan to have all my devices paired with the same receiver. The M650 is a fine mouse and feels great in the hand. Logitech added their quiet clicking to this mouse, and I must say that is very nice. The mouse is powered by a single AA battery, which Logitech says should last for 2 years. I actually like their decision not to use a rechargeable batter in the M650. If a standard AA battery lasts for 2 years, why would I need to rely on a rechargeable battery that will eventually stop taking a charge? Yes, it’s nice to be able to simply plug in a USB charging cable and keep going, but I prefer using regular batteries. Logitech is attempting to fill a gap in the mid-price range, but I’m not sure they need to do that. They already have other mice in this price range, and even their lower-priced mice perform very well. While I think the M650 is great, having to use the Logi Bolt receiver knocks it down a few pegs for me. My issue with the receiver will hopefully be temporary, but for now it’s a bummer. I also think Logitech needs to get it together on the software side of things. I shouldn’t have to rely on beta software to get my hardware to work. If you want a good mouse that performs well on all surfaces, and is quieter than the typical mouse, Logitech has added another good option. Compared to a traditional mouse in the same price range, the quiet clicking buttons and ability to scroll horizontally would push me toward the M650. If, for some reason, you need to keep using an exiting unifying receiver, you may want to stick with an older Logitech mouse.

Comfortable, connectable, quiet
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mice are as common as anything, but this mouse is really nice. I was able to hook up with Bluetooth for my tablet and USB on my laptop easily, the size is just right for my hand, I have a little larger hands and this was nicer than usual. the clicking (or lack of clicking sound at least) was a welcome change and the touch needed seemed softer so the knuckle of my index finger doesn't ache by end of day. All in all this is a nice, quiet, wireless mouse for me. Customization of the side buttons was also a bonus.

Excellent reasonably price full size mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most non gaming full size wireless mice have significant limitations. This mouse is made of nice materials, has a good fit (there is also a smaller and left handed version), and functions well. The sensor reads perfectly on marble countertop and is quite precise. Silent but tactile clicks and great scroll wheel. Two side buttons are programable via options software (not gaming software). Long battery life and instant Bluetooth connection on Surface laptop (mouse does house USB dongle if needed).
