    I considersd getting the apple version of this product but decided to wait for this one. Overall it is a good case. The portion that the Ipad goes in is pretty much all hard plastic so I had a little concern about that but no problems so far.

    With the purchase of a new iPad Air, I wanted to pair it with a nice case and keyboard. Unfortunately, when using the iPad strictly in lap/handheld mode, the keyboard easily disconnected. When carrying the unit, it seemed fairly flimsy and the keyboard again disconnected from the back easily. When sitting at a table, though, the keyboard worked fine and the backlit keys were nice. For us, though, we returned it and went with a more protective case without a keyboard.
