Good quality, not very heavy either. First perfectly in a medium sized purse. Beats the cost of Apple

bought this over the Apple product because of backlit keyboard but makes the tablet almost as heavy as a notebook.

The folio case definitely protects my iPad, which has suffered a few accidental drops on a carpet floor. But for some reason, the keypad frequently disconnects from the iPad and I have to pick up the iPad and place it back on the keyboard in order for it to work properly. Minus this annoyance, I am quite pleased.

This is so much nicer than the older keyboard i had for my other Ipad. This one was purchased along with my new Ipad Pro and I love it. My older keyboard was powered by an internal battery that needed to be recharged. You also needed to remember to turn the thing on and off. This one requires no battery and needs no on/off switch. Also I love the kickstand and the fact that its backlit. I'm very happy with the purchase

This case works great as a portable keyboard, but it does not provide great protection for the ipad. Here are a few things I noticed: The keyboard is held to the other side of the case by magnets. When not in use, it's pulled off and you'll have to store it as it doesn't just flip back like other cases. If the keyboard were to become dirty or hold debris it will scratch the glass of the ipad if not wiped clean before reattaching. The keyboard is the front lid to the case and does not provide impact protection at all. A friend accidentally placed a few magazines on top of my ipad and I was frustrated to find out that the weight of the magazines caused the ipad to register a wrong password 1000 times causing the ipad to become disabled. The bottom portion of the case does not fully cover the sides of the ipad. The Apple pencil holder seems to be a last second add on. Overall, this is a good keyboard if your ipad is never going to leave your office /desk and is never in any danger of being dropped.

Bought this to replace the Apple Smart Keyboard that died that I had on my iPad Pro 2nd generation, because they aren’t made any more. The keyboard works, but it’s not as nice as the Apple one. It is backlit which could be a plus if I was working in the dark. In order to use the iPad in portrait mode, you need to remove the keyboard because it detaches when you fold it backwards. The keyboard stays exposed when folded back (if it doesn’t detach) and sits on the screen of the iPad when it’s closed. Make sure you have a screen protector. The one advantage it has over the Apple Smart Keyboard is that there is a place to hold the Apple Pencil which makes it easier to bring along. Maybe if I had bought this before the Apple Smart Keyboard I might have given it a higher rating, but after coming from that, it is somewhat of a disappointment.

Great portable keyboard. Nice "clickiness" to the keys, nice backlighting. It is great that it is easily detachable. More functional than Apple's own, for a similar price.

The fit and finish on the product is great. The keyboard feels good and it protects the IPAD. However, the keyboard is constant disconnecting even as I type this. If you are charging your IPad with the cover open its fine as soon as you close it, it stops. Seems to be a known problem if you google it. Contacted support and it took them a week to get back to me. They want to send me a new one, but the forums said it will have the same issue.

I have an original iPad Pro and purchased a apple keyboard meant for the iPad. Approximately one year after obtaining it, it stopped working (a known problem for the keyboard). The Logitech keyboard works great (using it now). In addition to stable operation, it has a full protective case, and a place to store the pen. Slightly heavy when all together, but I love it. the backlit keyboard is perfect as well.

I’ve had many a pad over the years along with many a case. My favorite has been Twelve South products for pads / phones, and logi was for the computer. Until now, this case has lived up to as promised, and then some. Convenient, durable, can be used at almost any angle, allowing for an ease to switch between touch and physical keypad. I’m still discovering all the benefits of this case yet.
