Confusing and difficult to use

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I may just be physically inept, but i had a tough time keeping the two parts of this unit together when I wanted them together or separating them when I wanted them separate. i basically need a cover for an ipad that doesn't bulk it up too much, but protects it and doesn't make it too awkward to use, particularly if I'm reclining in a chair or on a couch and want to use one hand to hold it up. This case makes that more difficult and I wasn't sure if it was because I wasn't using it well or the design was bad. i wound up going back to Apple's iPad cover.
