Sturdy enough for everyday use. This keyboard uses 2 2013 coin style batteries it is not rechargeable. It is rated to last 2 years under normal use but I would get an extra set to have on hand. The iPad is held magnetically the the keyboard with a fixed angle. The keyboard connects using Bluetooth. For the price on sale it was well worth the cost. There are some better keyboard cases out there with adjustable angles and are rechargeable. You can make your own decisions.

I chose this case because my favorite one was not available. I have found that i really like it. It is far easier to use a keyboard than single finger typing in the iPad. I like that the iPad locks in the upright position and then can fold down in one piece. It is a durable case and i hope i get many years out of it. It protects my iPad very very well. It is very strong.

It turns your iPad into a Laptop as far as functioning and typing. My eyes are thankful for getting this. My iPhone is great but still has a small screen and this makes using apps easier and less likely to make a mistake by hitting a icon on phone with your big fingers. I am sure that has happened a everyone on the iPhone. You can fold it up and use it strictly like a tablet so you get the both of best worlds. As with all new devices your need to get familiar with all the keys on the keyboard. But, that comes quickly.

This keyboard is the perfect accessory for the iPad. Setup was quick and easy. Not only is it a great keyboard but it offers protection as well.

I bought it for my first iPad and a year later again for my latest iPad. I made sure my sister got it also, when she was looking. We are all happy campers. My only complaint is when inputting info trying to sync to iPad it does not state the word ‘Enter’. You input the code and you just sit there waiting for it to take and it gives up because the work ENTER was not pressed. It must be taking for granted that we know it all, and I’m new to iPads and need all the help I can get. Other than that, I love the keyboard.

Im a bit of an out of date technophile, so i was a little unaware of what a ‘smart keyboard’ was, but i was happy to learn that these keyboards did not require a charge and connected seamlessly to the device. Also, note that these keys are backlit, so night typing on your ipad can be conveniently comfortable again. At first, i had trouble with a few keys not registering, so I’ll remind you to just make sure you update the firmware via the app, and make sure your ios is up to date as well. Fixed the issue right away.

Bought this along with the ipad and functions well for a compact keyboard and protects the tablet as well. No complaints.

Typing on glass makes me absolutely mental, and this case is both protective and incredibly useful with the good-feeling keyboard and it also supports many of the keyboard shortcuts - even ones not exactly identified as such on the physical keys. It is actually the 2nd one I've had for my 6th gen iPad. If you are a heavy user as I am, it's worth it to get the extended protection plan. The one I'm reviewing is the replacement.
