Our family owned the 9.7" version, which initially was returned several times due to faulty keys (but thankfully easily-exchanged at Best Buy). This newer model for the 10.2" iPad 7th Gen works well. No issues so far (touch wood!). I had considered getting the "Rugged" version, but couldn't justify the extra cost and loss of functionality (it doesn't sit so nicely on your lap). I'm glad I stayed with this one because it has worked very well. My only suggestion to Logitech would be to include a guide in the box explaining what all the special function keys (the row above the number keys) actually do. On the previous model, that was printed on the inside of the packaging box. On this model, it's blank (probably to save a few cents on the cost).

This is definitely a great addition on a budget for your Ipad. I wanted a build in keyboard that could be carried as part of the case and the case feel sturdy. This exceeded my expectations in both areas as it is a hard cover case and the keyboard is not noticeable when you carry the case. It is a little on the thick side but that is ok for me but may not be for you. The amazing part is that it does not require charging as it is battery operated and the battery will last a couple of years before you need to change it. The keyboard also knows to automatically knows when to connect to your ipad so you don't have to be constantly connecting like the lower end keyboards.

I am using the keyboard more than my case. I can type just like a regular computer with it,I have fat fingers. Stays charge through the tablet and help keep the tablet safe. Totally happy with this purchase!!

This is the best keyboard ever! It connects immediately and goes to sleep when you close it. I love that I do not have to charge it since it has batteries that are good for several years. Could not be happier!

I have a 7th Generation iPad, and am very happy with this product. Would recommend it - both for ease of use of the keyboard and as impact protection for the iPad. The lithium battery is not rechargeable/replaceable, but it lasts for several years. When the battery died in my first Logitech Slim Folio Keyboard Folio, I bought another identical keyboard.

Great price vs Apple's own case. It's not quite as slim as I'd like and makes the tablet feel more like a laptop. The keyboard has great key travel, feels sturdy, and the magnet is strong keeping the tablet upright. After the initial pairing, I've yet to have an issue connecting automatically. The battery is rated to last 2 years but I wish there was an option to recharge via USB-C or Lightning. This was a gift for my wife and she loves it so these are more things I've noticed that she doesn't care about as an average consumer. Great option if you're looking for a different case!

This case is great it is strong and sturdy and if you do drop your ipad it will be well protected. The keyboard is awesome and it turned my ipad into a mini laptop.

Good quality and easy to acclimate to from other keyboards. It doesn't add too much thickness to the ipad and the magnetic hold to hold it in position is very good.

This is a fantastic alternative to the Apple keyboards if you don't prefer their folding mechanism (as I don't). It functions well, keeps your iPad safe, and feels sturdy. iPad can also be clipped in and out if you want to take it out for any reason. Easy to use and great value!

I bought this for my 7th generation iPad, couldn't be happier. This keyboard also serves as a protective cover for the pad, really like the feel of the buttons and the case is very sturdy. Has many control buttons on the keyboard for short cuts and eliminates the use of on screen keyboard that takes up screen space. I was going to buy the apple keyboard but decided on this one due to the fact that provided my iPad with protection as well.

Simple, effective. Keys are easy to type on and it fits the ipad well. Auto on/off works well and very convenient. Place to hold pencil is huge benefit.

I Love my Logitech keyboard, the typing on this keyboard is the best, but a rotating case would have been perfect for reading my magazines on the Apple News+ app, but the case is strong enough to hold the tablet in place in the vertical position, see photo below

We've had Logitech keyboards for every iPad we've owned. Very good product. Each new version of the keyboard is easier to setup than the last. For the 7th gen iPad, set up is incredibly easy. The only drawback is the new size and weight. Some people like their tech smaller and lighter but it comes at a price and that's stability. Older Logitech keyboards were rigid. Due to their weight and thickness, I think. This new model, not so much. The iPad moves around while using. Still a great keyboard.

My fiancé and I picked this up for her new Generation 8 iPad and it has made productivity skyrocket. The accessibility is wonderful, linking it to the iPad for setup was instant, and we have this keyboard attached and ready to use 24/7. With it being a relatively cheap option for a keyboard, we have no complaints. We didn't want to spend an outrageous amount on something, nor did we have the need for a trackpad or backlit keys. If we were to get another, I would look for this Logitech product again.

Great fit. The keys are responsive. The dedicated lock, volume, brightness, and home buttons make it far easier to treat the tablet like a laptop!

This keyboard works beautifully with my iPad, and I also like the protection that the case provides for my device. I had one for my last iPad and had to get a new one that would fit my larger size iPad. I specifically looked for a Logitech one, because I was so happy with the last one.

If you’re looking for a functional AND protective keyboard case for your iPad 7th generation, this may be the case for you. It completely covers the iPad when closed. It has a built in battery, so no charging cables! It pairs to the iPad via bluetooth easily and stays connected. The sleep/wake function works quickly. The case and iPad survived an unplanned drop test onto concrete without any damage. I’d buy this case again. It’s worth the price for the quality and features.

The Logitech Slim Folio works great with my 8th Generation iPad. Seamless operation and immediate functionality. The iPad fits perfectly and the Apple Pencil holder is placed perfectly. I have a first Gen Apple Pencil and I was concerned that it would slide out of the holder. However, I have had no issues with that at all. There is easy access to all iPad buttons and the lightning port. I would recommend this to friends, family or anybody.
